I remember watching Frank in high school. Came to Decatur to play Stephen D. It was the year after Sergio and Marcus Griffin played along side him at Manual. That Manual team has to be one of the best high school teams of all time in Illinois.

Frank, Dee, Nick A, Don Freeman were amazing athletes and always fun to watch.

Check him in offense for defense and every time he runs by Fran, mouth off to him. Could even wear a facemask, as it is athletes choice, so the officials don't see him saying anything.

As I've posted several time, keeping teams below 70 has been the key to Underwood Illini teams. Unfortunately, that's not likely to happen as both offenses are, to use an over used word by Underwood, elite. At all costs, we cannot spot them a double digit lead. We might see a bit of zone tonight, but I like our high post look with Curbelo there to facilitate. Grand-Hawkin-son would also be a solid zone rotation buster.

This game, like any good rivalry game, will come down to the final possession. Hopefully we are the ones going to bed with smiles on our faces.

In listening to Iowa's interviews, they seem to have keen interest in this game (proverbially circled it on the calendar).
1) Ayo "doesn't like them"
2) Garza got stuffed last year (he remembers - it is his last memory of the year)
3) DaMonte/McCaffrey standoff
4) The physical play 'whining' post-game
5) They feel it is a "rivalry" now that we are "competitive"
We couldn't "get up" for the Missouri rivalry the past few years. I hope tonight starts a better trend.

On a side note, something tells me we may see a double-technical tonight. Just a hunch. Hopefully the game is as competitive as we think it will be.
