I will never erase any of these Ayo memories. Ever. Just like Nick Anderson memories. And Dee Brown. And Frankie. And Malcolm.
Win or lose they are on my hard drive until somebody smacks me in the head with a magnet.
Malcolm will always have a special place in my heart. I don't care that those teams didn't win anything.

I feel like all of Giorgi's time is full of frustration. He clearly hasn't accepted his role, IMO
well, I call BS on that. When Kofi came in BU talked about how it was up BU to come up with schemes to get Giorgi touches and points. They haven't got it figured out yet and it's unfortunate. Giorgi's being asked to be a player he isn't. I don't think it's so much about acceptance as ability. Happens with a lot of guys where coaches and fans think they can change their game.

Calillini

Now appearing in Tampa
We had 5 players who scored. Nebraska had 9 in the scoring column.
That’s a problem.

Your correct. 2 baskets in last 4 games. He does play very good defense.

yeah it was more a comment aimed that he's taken some shots since that airball. The first two games after that i believe he was still injured (ankle and achilles). BU said he was back to 100% last game i believe. Hopefully he puts up 2-3 treys against NW and gets back to taken a couple every game

My feelings on curbelo is that if he can develop a shot then then he wouldn’t have to force pressure which causes turnovers that’s all he should do IMO he’s good under pressure when defenders go to him not when he goes to defender
Please don't tell me how good Curbelo is. Right now he is a liability. He makes the same mistakes game after game after game. That does not tell me he has such a high BB IQ.

Hoiberg is a good coach. Not only did they have a good game plan against us, but you still have to be able to execute it. And tonight they made some shots that haven't been falling all year. This team will not go through the BIG without winning a game this year if they can continue to play like this.
I am just elated that it wasn't us.
An ugly win is still a win. We had nothing really to gain from winning this game, but a lot to loose. On to the next.

He's just a freshman...averaging 8pts and 5 assists per game. You have to take the good with the bad if you are going to give freshmen significant minutes.
Ace was a nightmare on defense to start the year. Look at where he is now.

We will remember Curbelo for a long time after he's done here. Give him a hot minute.

When Georgi comes in for Kofi, it feels like they are trying to run the same offense, but that's just not his game and he ends up forcing more than he needs to. I wish he would look for the double team and pass it out for a 3. More often he tries to force something and either ends up taking a horrible shot or a turnover. Then he gets frustrated and make silly fouls on defense.

Tonight in the first half, I don't what he was doing, but a guy was running across the lane and Georgi just cross checked him. BOOM foul.. and the coach pulled him immediately.

I don't know what the answer is, but he needs to figure out how to not hurt the team when he comes in.
