at least they have the draft priorities correct.Bears supposedly still trying to work out a deal for Wentz. Read an article that thinks Darnold may be the backup plan if Wentz trade doesn't happen. Also looking like offensive tackle and wide receiver is the priority in the draft for them.
Exchanging Wentz for Foles is a positive for me, despite the contract. Exchanging our 1st for their 2nd, I can live with that. May still prefer keeping Mitch, and still trading Foles to Philly, after they send Wentz to Indy, or wherever. Build up the O-line, receiving corps, and I think Mitch can be average-ish, if used properly. Draft a QB with potential, and do it again next year.at least they have the draft priorities correct.
I like Wentz enough , but not enough to give up a 1st round draft pick
I haven't watched Fitzpatrick this year to know enough. I still want to send Foles back to Indy, once Philly trades Wentz.Appears Eagles are not being offered what they deem acceptable for Wentz, hence no deal is imminent. Bears are said to be keeping their eye on other QB candidates. Personally, if a Wentz deal doesn't go thru for Bears, I'd be willing to sign Fitzpatrick to a 1 or 2 year deal, as a stop gap measure.
They are already going to have difficulty to fit Wentz under the cap (depending on what it ends up being). I would assume Ertz is getting paid, right?Report out of Philly saying Eagles might be smart to sweeten the deal for Wentz by including TE Zach Ertz, who is not expected to be back next season. Bears could use a veteran as their primary TE, while Kmet continues to develop. Bears not expected to resign Jimmy Graham.
Ertz already got paid and is coming off an injury season. If Foles and Cohen are included in the deal, or anyone else for that matter, that would free up money. They are already going to have difficulty to fit Wentz under the cap (depending on what it ends up being). I would assume Ertz is getting paid, right?
Not sure where to put this...
I bet he’ll be a Packer.J.J. Watt and Texans have mutually agreed to part ways.
While I'd like to see him in Chicago, which there is a connection due to his wife playing for the Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL, I think it's a longshot to happen.
I bet he’ll be a Packer.
Well he better be on the straight and narrow because you know NFL players aren't going to tolerate any kind of abuse or racism from a coach.
National Felony League plays the victim card so much who would know.. between committing crimes and playing victims, lucky they have time to play football.
Just a general observation..Is this in reference to Doyle or something else? Because you may wanna take a look at Doyle's history at Iowa and what led to his firing there.
I’m not saying it (the toss) was a smart idea, but asking for an apology to the family is pathetic. Tom Brady owes you nothing.
