Win this game, and we’re likely on the 1 seed line come Monday
I think if OSU and MI play a really close good game, they both keep 1 seed lines. It would be close but we'd have to have OSU lose in pretty terrible fashion and we beat Minny convincingly. Otherwise those top two are tough to budge just playing each other

We have got to take care of our business and then thump osu at their place to dislodge them, barring any upsets before.....jmho

Yeah that was a fastball right in the back of the dome. Been there, done that, fell down 😂... With Kofi, I expected it to pop a leak and go zipping around the stands.

Need OSU to win. Then if we beat them both we win.as Mich with 3 losses and the head to head loss to us. Shouldn’t be a problem.

I think Michigan needs to lose by a lot, say 20 or so, before they get taken off the 1 seed line. OSU's perch is a lot more tenuous.

That Michigan-OSU game Sunday is a big one. And they’re both playing tonight too (although not likely to lose)

That's about the biggest "then if". If we just beat #3 and 4 on the road

Actually if we just beat OSU we could be fine. Depends how many games Michigan sacks up to play. We'll likely have more wins, but if they slip elsewhere where the % is against them who knows.

I also agree. Especially if Michigan loses a really really close one.

Anyone think Illini are running too many different lineups out there?
You mean the fact that we've had just two different starting lineups all year? Grandison replaced DMW -- that's it. The other 4 have started every game.

Beyond that, I think BU is doing a great job of substituting throughout the game. Frazier and Ayo are playing ~34 minutes/game.

Agreed, but here is some insight...simply because this Minnesota team is crazy.

According to Torvik, Minnesota is 8 in the country at home and 119 away from home. That's ridiculous and almost unexplainable considering there are no fans. I mean, I understand being more comfortable at home but not by that much. We are basically playing a completely different team, so that first game can be thrown out the window. And I'm looking through the stats and can't find anything specific that makes them so much different on the road vs at home. They do almost everything very well at home, and almost everything very poorly on the road.

So I think it is pretty fair to say a loss is expected, unfortunately. But we do have an extra day of rest over them. I kinda hope they beat IU tonight. Minnesota is right on the bubble and maybe that would make them a little less desperate against us.
I think it's the elevated court. (They still have it, right?) I've played/coached on those occasionally and it's a really tough adjustment for visiting teams.

Win or lose to Minny I can’t help to be thankful for where we are at and the conversations we get to have. As I was reading that SI article about Ayo I’m wondering, “What would life be like for us if he had gone to Wake Forest?” Would we be in their shoes? With a new coach hired this year at the bottom of league standings.

Maybe already discussed... GK likely out for MINN
Don’t know quite how it will affect us. They replaced him as a starter with Jamal Mashburn- freshman. He dropped 19 points on Indiana. o_O

Bigger news is that Robbins is well less than 100%. Kofi should have 25 and 15
