Not sure where the disconnect is tonight, but if you went back and watched how many times our all-americans guy got offensive boards you'd be surprised. No box out, no body, no check, nothing.
MSU might be down this year and yes we do have a habit of playing down to our competition but you can't expect an Izzo coached team to completely lay down the entire year. They were bound to look like vintage MSU at some point. Unfortunately, it came against us.
Its worth pointing out that this team has a tendency to play down to the talent level of opponents, especially right after a really good performance. It was pointed out at the time that this tendency would come back to bite us, and big shock, here we are.
