Dakich is an idiot to the nth degree - Davison reached up and grabbed Kofi's arm with both his arms like a toddler playing with his dad. The only thing missing was the "wheeeee" sound.

Yea Benetti is usually solid. I don't understand what either of them saw there. So clear cut that it was not a basketball play

Jockitch standing up for Davidson when he clearly grabbed and held Kofi's arm with both hands was a new low even for him. He wouldn't know a hook if it was attached to a pirate captain's arm.

Yes, even when he is way off base and sticks to his guns to pretend he is right. Expressing a clearly wrong read on a play just makes him look dumb. You may like him but I simply don't like blowhards like that.

Illini can win this game comfortably....if they play the game and stop the turnovers. Just move the ball quickly and safely and be mindfull of Wisky shooters at the arc...making good closeouts. Reuvers and Potter are too intimidated by Kofi, Hawk, and Giorgi inside so they are shooting from the arc instead....who knows when they heat up as they are good shooters?

If Illini keep the turns to 6 instead of 12 and score on half, this game is over.

Commentators, the ones who were not players, or were just okay players, seem to love guys who make a living with “scrappiness,” thus the Davison love

Maybe I am a dolt (as every one of us is at times), but I have always considered DD as my favorite. He is entertaining, usually has a bright, correct (yet somewhat dated) take on every play, is unbiased and complimentary, and not afraid to call players and refs out for laziness. Perfect in my opinion...at his job....not his take...but who cares?

Certainly more entertaining than Bill Walton who we see 4 or 5 times a week in the West.

Michigan fan here watching the game. The call was dead on! I can’t understand what the announcers are smoking. It was so obvious an blatant. By their logic, any short person can do whatever they want because, “What else is a smaller guy supposed to do”?

but there is no Good or Bad below just freshmen PG Belo who some fans wont allow him to experience growing pains as they live out unrealistic fantasies about what first year PGs do .

Go look at the top freshmen Pgs of the last 10 years in the NCAA even the ones that go pro and they all push the limits have ridiculous turnovers at times and take questionable shots . Considering that we dont even have a legit consistent pick and roll/pop big hes doing fine .

LOL...always admired Walton....as a player...but as a commentator he is worthless and by far the worst. What is sad is that he could be good but decides not to be.

Can't be too down about an 11-pt halftime lead. Need to keep the defensive intensity high. Limit turnovers.
