I like Dakich Only problem I find when he does an Illini game is that 25% of the posts in game thread are about him rather than the actual game.

With as good as Illini’s D was for much of the first half, scary that the lead was only what it was. Can’t imagine Wisky shoots as poorly as first half.

Here's my take and I won't belabor the point. This whole thing is supposed to be fun. Fun for the players and fun for the fans. As fans, we get carried away. Walton, Vitale and Dakich....they're just guys, having fun, calling the game. They are teaching calculus or prepping students for a history final. If his opinion doesn't agree with ours, so be it. I don't mind the guy. He speaks his mind and I think it's entertaining. I don't hang on his every word like it's law because as you correctly noted....it's not.
