I thought I saw a shot of him on the bench (I could be wrong), but also thought it interesting he didn't get into the game.I noticed no Jermaine Hamlin at the end. Didn't see him on the bench either.

Free year for eligibility. COVID rule.Does this mean the redshirt is off of Lieb??
I don’t know why Katz is there. They are trying to make the show legitimate with him but it doesn’t work. Just give us Shaq and let it be fun. That studio crew of four is really bad. Not insightful at all, not glib. Barkley doesn't belong on college sports. Katz we are used to from the BTN. As for the other studio crew, I really liked Kellogg when he was younger, but not he's just that good any more.
What? Katz is literally the only one who knows anything about any of these teams. Every time he talks, he is both educating the rest of the studio crew and trying to lob them softballs so they can sound informed about teams, players, and matchups. Katz is doing yeoman's work out there.I don’t know why Katz is there. They are trying to make the show legitimate with him but it doesn’t work. Just give us Shaq and let it be fun.
He was definitely on the bench.I thought I saw a shot of him on the bench (I could be wrong), but also thought it interesting he didn't get into the game.
Can't say I care too much about what those guys say during NBA games, but it's always annoyed me that they don't use people who cover the NCAA all year in the studio. There are plenty of talented analysts who actually watch college basketball out there.yea, I really dont like that TNT NBA studio crew with their schtick . Never understood why people like Ernie "like my bow tie? " Johnson.
I am fine with a dude wearing the bow tie RARELY, but when they wear one all the time, or way more than 1/2 the time, I automatically dont like them
Barkley mails it in . I think he gets briefed for a total of 2 minutes, 3 minutes before the cameras go on.
Mark and parents at Miznoz say hello!I watched this game on a treadmill (I don't have cable but I work/workout at a Y that does). As I was walk/jogging the 8 miles the game took (thank God it was a quick game) it suddenly dawned on me how fitting it was to watch Underwood's Illini... while on a treadmill. Glad it was a blowout. Loved every minute of it!
This +1.....hear you. You needed the first brick for a rebuild: Malcolm is that plus the support beamAll I could think about when our subs came in at the end was how much Malcolm Hill would have given to be in this situation.
It was a long drought, Illini, but feels good to be back.
Eh, that's a bit much. I love Malcolm..(he was one of the only bright spots for my time as a student) but he never played for this staff or anyone on the current team. This +1.....hear you. You needed the first brick for a rebuild: Malcolm is that plus the support beam
That went through his legs right? Has to be a top ten play of the day!

Freshman PG. Huge stage. Zero nerves or hesitation. That's what BU is referring to when he talks about our "swag." And boy do we have it.That went through his legs right? Has to be a top ten play of the day!
Well, since we don't have a mascot (unless the bird thing is finalized), you should of had a bye.I’m a little torn... I’m glad Illinois won, but I had Drexel as the National Champion in my “mascot vs. mascot bracket.” Bracket: busted.
Yep, I'm guessing he's still getting used to the mask and this game was a good one to do that.He had also missed a couple of layups and has looked a little off since the Iowa game. I think it was as much about letting him get his mojo back a bit in a low stress situation as it was chasing a triple double. Which he did.
A little jittery to start but a nice, workmanlike win. Onto the next!
I wonder if he will be cleared to remove the mask during the tournament? How long does it take a broken nose to heal?Yep, I'm guessing he's still getting used to the mask and this game was a good one to do that.
Thought I heard him say he had to wear it rest of the season and then after the season determine if he needs surgery. I saw him say it on ESPN radio interview with him a few days ago.I wonder if he will be cleared to remove the mask during the tournament? How long does it take a broken nose to heal?
He was the finger in the dike.Love Malcolm, but this makes no sense. He graduated and we continued to get worse during a complete rebuild of the program. He wasn't the first brick.
I heard the same.Thought I heard him say he had to wear it rest of the season and then after the season determine if he needs surgery. I saw him say it on ESPN radio interview with him a few days ago.
Haha! But I am still fully onboard! I VOLUNTEERED for the treadmill, Coach!!Mark and parents at Miznoz say hello!
