Wish Villanova had upset UNC in 2005. We would have played them or Michigan St in the title. Would have been similar to Maryland winning in 2002.

I mostly wish they’d show the black and white Jimmy Jackson picture during this broadcast. For sure my favorite announcer exchange of the season.

Baylor beats the Zags. More physical, better defense, and battle tested. It will be a heck of a game tho.

this is same crap he wrote before Illini played Michigan...how we were going to get blown out.....not a peep afterwards.

They outscored the WCC by +0.32 points.

It is highly unlikely Illinois would have beaten Gonzaga.

It obviously helps them to put up such a gaudy record. Their C game can win most all of their league games. However they have dismantled everyone this year outside WVU and Suggs was in the locker room hurt for a large chunk of that game. It’s a different kind of dominance as it is not just pure athletic overpowing of the opponent like those unlv teams but rather a high level of basketball skill that is operating with machine like precision.

Some of the teams in the WCC are just as good as some of the teams Gonzaga has played in tournament.
