You cannot judge a player’s character on what happens on the court. There are a lot of players I cannot stand how they play but are good people.

I am willing to give anyone a shot who is willing to play for Illinois

I am interested in who we get as guards next year. We are looking thin right now.
I want Armaan. He's a B1G-proven player, and WE'D STEAL AN IU PLAYER!!!!

Really? How much more crazy can it get? Over 1,000 already in it! Is every player in NCAA released by some technicality and given walking papers?

UK, KU, Duke, UNC fill rosters in snake draft of 1st 40 players (10 per team) after that all teams will have lottery ball drawn for picking order and snake draft the rest of the players.

Sure hope we end up with at least one 3☆ out of that process

Lieb is not leaving. He was interviewed about this being his dream school that he will never leave. I understand how you'd think he'd want to leave. Most guys in his position would be hopping into that loaded transfer portal
I don't believe it's entirely HIS decision (i.e. what do you know about his end-of-season 1:1 with BU?). Have those discussions even yet occurred?

Just a hunch, but I'm thinking that Tyler Underwood was playing the long game. With a completely depleted roster Tyler's gonna get another waiver from the NCAA and start for Illinois. Well played Tyler.

Expect nothing when it comes to Giorgi, but passion. He is a different cat, I think he stays and I think his mentality might be different with regard to his family. He will see them this year and things are temporary. He seems like a guy who sees the big picture. Anyways, I hope he has a girlfriend he won't leave.

Will have his degree in May......hasn’t seen Mom in 2 years. Thinks he can play professionally in Europe....which is home. Seems like maybe he is seeing the big picture.

The only thing I have a problem with is the “thinks he can play in Europe”. I may have missed something and I do think he can, but I have never heard him have this angle.

Well, that's the primary place for pros who can't make the league. Plus, he's from there and his family lives there.

No. This was not an end of season 1:1. This was on channel 3, WCIA, a few months back.
