High schools rankings are at least vetted by tons of impartial scouts who get paid to do this, and are based on competitive games. They are by no means perfect, but I think it's fair to put a little more stock in those than reports of practice performance which are seen by a limited number of people, not on publicly available tape, and are practice rather than competitive play. By no means am I saying Hutch is not good, or that his supposedly great practice performances are meaningless, just that we don't actually have a lot of reliable, vetted info on how good he is.
