I wouldn't mind us trying to go with a smaller, more athletic big. Who in the conference can defend and guard him/Hawkins on the perimeter? Id be even more ok with us getting him to say 225 and 6'10" to keep that bounce. Hawkins too, he will be a huge matchup problem in the coming years for other teams!
Yeah, I hope he makes an even bigger step forward this year.

As long as they have bounce and a long wingspan (and aren't rail thin) I am right there with you and am not very concerned about height. I think the tourney this year showed college teams drifting more towards NBA style. Arkansas, for instance, played really well with 6'7" Justin Smith at the 5, whereas he was a 3/4 at Indiana. Good to have some optionality though and have a giant backup that can bang with some of the bigger dudes during the conference slate.

Not much AC experience, but the rest looks very good. Love guys who were captains.

See him listed at 6-7, 220. Is he more a 4 than a 3?
Led the team in rebounds (8.3pg) and shot .311 from the 3. He played a lot in the middle in the games I saw him, but I think that was more out of need, much like Liddell’s situation at OSU. 247 did have him listed as a SG coming out of high school.
