We just need to hang on to the recruits/players we already have. Before we got OA...I never heard of him. (but then...ALL the guys we are going after now (except Chet) I have never heard of!
There's very little overlap in the kids KY wants and our players. Namely, Curbelo. And he's already stated he's staying with us. And Washington is going to KY. So, this poaching worry is blown way out of proportion.

As to our recruits, they won't offer Bass and I'm pretty comfortable that Storr is gonna be in O&B regardless of how highly ranked he ends up.

Why would any Illini fan watch that in the first place? For the most part these coaches are mercenaries. I propose we stop simping for them.
relax big guy, no one is "simping" for them.

I think storr is the one to worry about despite what he has said since the departure of OA and Chin

So I should ignore what Storr said himself and assume he's lying. Interesting.

While I agree we should take what Storr said at face value...he could change his mind at any moment and it wouldn’t be lying. It’d just be a change of heart.

Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen!

And there is no reason to think differently unless we start to hear something from Storr’s camp.

How do I get one of these “camps” of my own?

Antigua $850,000
Coleman $450,000

Antigua will see a $25,000 raise each year for three years leading to a $900,000 salary in 2023-24.

Coleman will receive a $50,000 raise each year through 2023-24.

I think that's the appropriate reaction. Either we didn't actually offer $4 million/4yrs, and were cheapskates, or OA decided he'd rather earn $1.375 million less to work somewhere else. I'm honestly not sure which answer makes me feel less worse.
Any decent spin we could tell ourselves seems to be out the window, unfortunately. Considering where we seem to be in the AC search, I'd guess we aren't offering anywhere close to the money rumored.

No way we offered Chin $600,000. That's also the same amount that Chester is making, supposedly.....once again, no way.
