I think with any hire of this sort, you start out with the absolute best you can imagine, even if its a long shot, then work your way down. Eventually you will arrive at the best you can get.Well than what's the problem(not being sacastic at all) are we trying to get ones off BU list first and then go after the ones that actually called about openings, I'm actually asking for me not a friend
Is no one going to acknowledge that LSU may be the most corrupt college program in the country right now?!!! I mean, besides me!
Ideally, some of those people would be the same. It seems, though, that the circle of coaches Underwood wants to hire and the circle of coaches who want the job isn't intersecting. Kinda like the Wu Tang Clan Venn diagram.Well than what's the problem(not being sacastic at all) are we trying to get ones off BU list first and then go after the ones that actually called about openings, I'm actually asking for me not a friend
I just think Will Wade is particularly unconcerned with being labeled a cheater. Props to him.I think it's safe to say that pretty much every major basketball (and football) program in the NCAA works to find every loophole, grey area, and way to circumvent the rules to gain competitive advantage. That much is clear from all of the stuff going on the last few years. I am sure different schools do it to different degrees and some are better at it than others, but at this point I just assume everyone does it. There is too much money at stake.

I assume you accept all forms of currency? You're not "just leaving this here". You're "just making me set up a GoFundMe to arrange this."
In Wade's case it seems as though it has been proven, and not one F is given by the NCAA.Do any of them really care about being labeled as a cheater by anyone other than law enforcement or the NCAA? Fans can and will whine about anything and everything with a rival or (perceived) lesser program out-performs them. That has no bearing on Will Wade's livelihood. If anything, it probably means he is doing things that are causing him to be more successful... right up until he gets proven to be a cheater and loses a job (or worse).

Kelvin Sampson seems to not care. Whatever mindset you need to succeed, I guess.
Oh for sure. My favorite part is Sampson getting caught for the same thing, going to the NBA to wait it out, then coming back and it's like he's never cheated. I hate that the fans don't care and I hate that they are essentially rewarded for cheating and moving past it.I am not arguing it's an ethical way to go about your life, but I do just assume most do it to some degree. It's only the degree and brazenness that differs.
based on 1 guy I know they said no on already I would assume they would say no to this guy as well.Speculating.......or they already said no.
It has been.I can't believe that Erik Pastrana's name is not being brought up. Seems so obvious.
I’m used to trades involving players to be named later but don’t often see staff members named later. Thanks, Adam.

Isn't he the guy that led the Adam Miller recruitment.??
I will play the long game and steer my kids into compliance careers to address thisbased on 1 guy I know they said no on already I would assume they would say no to this guy as well.

I know big time college recruiting is a dirty business, but I find this point of view disappointing. I still hope there are people that employ some ethics in their jobs, even recruiting. Pardon me for cursing the darkness.I just think Will Wade is particularly unconcerned with being labeled a cheater. Props to him.
I speculate that this may not be entirely true, particularly as it relates to BU...The AC situation at Illinois defies conventional organizational thinking. Illinois basketball is a very good brand (though not Kentucky level). Underwood and Whitman are said to be well-liked professionally and good to work for/with. We are reportedly offering extremely competitive compensation. The program is in the midst of a highly productive period. From an organizational standpoint, we should be very attractive right now. We're ticking all the boxes. So why is our current staff all leaving, and why are we having trouble attracting our top prospective replacements?
I don't know if this is true or not, but reports like this do not help. Nothing makes a job look more unattractive than a list of candidates who didn't take it.
