I'm going with Corhen.

A 6’10” point guard would be perfect to go with a roster of 6’4””-6’7” guards. https://chicago.suntimes.com/2021/2/23/22298476/glenbard-west-braden-huff-hinsdale-centralI think we land both Kofi and Garcia. Irvin is STILL in play. And (again) Branden Huff will be our next 2022 commit.
Nice clip. It's pretty clear why we're interested.
I think it would only help his interestDoes possible Kofi return cool Garcia’s interest?
You would have to think that Garcia, who is most naturally a 4 (at least as I understand it), would like to play in a situation where he is guaranteed to not have to play the 5. Kofi coming back would cement that.Does possible Kofi return cool Garcia’s interest?
No idea. I have wondered the same thing. Maybe we were just wanting to start 3 players at 6'10" and higher? That would be a sight. And where does Payne fit?
- Payne knew it was a possibility he was the backup 5 when he committed here. He can still get plenty of minutes even if Kofi comes back. Payne practicing vs Kofi everyday would only make him better. And where does Payne fit?

Hutch isn't a glue guy.Garcia + Kofi with Payne + Hawkins backing them up would be a nightmare for opponents. With Curbelo running the show, and shooters like Frazier, Williams, and Plummer out on the line, and glue guys like Grandison and Hutcherson helping on the glass and on defense with their length. That's a national title contender all day long. And it doesn't factor in the unknown potential contributions from a strong freshman class. That team is better than the 2020-21 Illini. I have no reservations making that claim. It is undeniable as far as I'm concerned.
He is until proven otherwise. I just hope he can play.Hutch isn't a glue guy.
Hutch is the face of college basketball next year. He's not unproven, watch this highlight reel from 2018He is until proven otherwise. I just hope he can play.
I don't understand how (many of) you guys will instantly write off a guy as soon as Kansas or Kentucky starts to get serious because obviously, guys want to win and play with other star players, but when there's a possibility for the winning and playing with other star players to happen at Illinois, it's "well I just can't grok how these guys can play together"
I've been hearing positive vibes but I have this looming sadness close by....at least we should know this week.Worried about Kofi coming back. Just a gut feeling, but I think he will go to Kentucky. Far from insider, but just seeing how it is playing out with entering the portal and the timing. Hope I'm wrong.
