Interesting that Ryan Evan (on Twitter) seems to be hearing it’s more likely to be Brian Randle now but still a chance at Irving. I’d think Brian would want a true assistant position being he’s currently in the NBA? I think I’d personally have Irving

Randle is halfway toward being an nba champion. Is he really gonna take an (at best) 4th assistant role in college?

When they win this series his resume is going to demand a better job than that. Unless he just really, really wants it. If that’s the case, hire him yesterday.

someone said it’d almost be like canceling out Chin with the MIF if we get Irvin. If we balance out Irvin with Anderson (and Alexander?) having ties to Meanstreets, we should be golden.

That surprised me too, that said I think either would be incredible hires for that position.

TC, what do you think about the decision from Brian...if it’s true...to leave an NBA assistant position to be the 4th assistant at Illinois? Seems like a step down for him, no?
