Who has the vibez gif we got from the WF boards?
Kofi's situation is not dissimilar to a farmer who finds himself toiling in drought conditions. In the following diagram, Illinois (in orange) represents warm moist air.Hate to be the downer, but any explanation for why he spent time considering coming back to college but NOT coming back to Illinois?
You lost me at "not dissimilar"Kofi's situation is not dissimilar to a farmer who finds himself toiling in drought conditions. In the following diagram, Illinois (in orange) represents warm moist air.
Farmer Kofi needs to unlock this moisture to grow his crops, but he knows this will not happen on its own. Kofi sees a slow-moving cold front moving in from Kentucky (in blue), but unfortunately the updraft needed to condense the moisture is too slow in developing. Needing immediate resolution to this situation, Kofi calls a friendly pilot from Antigua airlines. Captain Orlando flies a much needed catalyst to the scene.
After the clouds are seeded, the heavens erupt in thunderous fury. The storm rages across Illinois and Kentucky. Amid the tumult of thunder and lightening, the clouds release a much needed soaking upon the land. In the day that follows, Kofi calls his friend Orlando and thanks him for helping mother nature...
Hell, doesn't Kofi get a 5th year of eligibility due to covid?...Maybe he could talk to JCL's advisor and get a 6th year???ok… probably dreaming here, but just thought of a NIL scenario that could actually keep good college players in college.
what if Kofi is first team all American, but similar to Garza is still not getting great feedback from the NBA. Maybe they have him as a late second. But he’s making $1M+ NIL. Is it possible the NIL keeps him around for his senior year?
My wife: *laughing* You guys are so funny.
RIP BTF...Let me help you:
And now Brad, Tim Anderson, Alexander get the chance to show their chops at player development for the NBA. Taking two undrafted players- Ayo and Kofi- to the first round in two years would be a major accomplishment that few schools get the chance to do.
Question I haven’t heard answered: is there a limit to number of players with NIL deals? If you’re getting $50K or more in NIL money, you don’t need a scholarship… so why not 20 players in your NBA development program.
Their butts still hurt from the a!# kickin we gave them last year.Wolverine fans are talking a lot of trash on Twitter. Whatever, that just means they've taken notice and consider us a threat.
It's a bad idea for the same reason overcrowded classrooms are a bad idea. The coaches need enough one-on-one time to give individualized attention and properly develop players. More students would hamper that. And now Brad, Tim Anderson, Alexander get the chance to show their chops at player development for the NBA. Meteorology, the life cycle of a farmer and Kofi's announcement all wrapped into one nice little explanation. Welcome to L.A.D.!!!Kofi's situation is not dissimilar to a farmer who finds himself toiling in drought conditions. In the following diagram, Illinois (in orange) represents warm moist air.

Yeah particularly with the blue bloods that were lousy last year.I think Gary Parrish is smoking something if he thinks there are 15 better teams than us.

I'm feeling more like the dude in the gray jacket. The metaphorical 2021-22 Illini hoops campaign night is young, my friends. :I'm a little late to the GIF parade. Current mood:
huge shout out to your husband for being at a wine tastingMy husband was incredibly tolerant of me constantly refreshing this during our wine tasting.
As elated as we are about Kofi, there's still one absolutely enormous hole to fill. Replacing Ayo will have to be done on the aggregate. His knack for taking games over late, hitting key free throws, etc....will be difficult and as we sit here today, it's still a question mark. It's the difference between a preseason rank of 15 vs 2. I don't think he's wrong in questioning that.I think Gary Parrish is smoking something if he thinks there are 15 better teams than us.
