Awful game. Last year much much better. Missed Feliz toughness and winning. BP3 was super ineffective. Rice and Egwu played well. That was about it. Oh well. Just kind of a reminder of how meh and disappointing we were for about 15 years.

Paul was 3 for 15 with five fouls.

Daum was bad, Paul was probably worse.

egwu and rice played well and I liked the Williams guy. He would have been a great backup to feliz. It’s a shame we didn’t get to see feliz play. Hurt us at the spot we needed the most.

You can’t show up to a competitive 5 on 5 basketball tournament with 8 warm bodies, 2 of those bodies are unplayable and your best player on paper was very bad.. It looked like LaTulip didn’t have a handle on his personal and we watched hero ball. With that said, they still had a chance. I feel bad for BP, probably put too much himself.

Hard to fault Latulip when 2 of his guys pulled out for professional gigs and 1 couldn't make it because of visa problems. Add Feliz and Hill to this team and its a very different outcome.

So much for having HOP fill that void until the season starts. Oh well, still love being able to see our alumni play if only for one, not so well played game.

These guys were awful. Horrible team basketball. Took 57 shots. 35 were 3's. Made only 10. Nobody doing the dirty work Feliz would have done. No defense. Stand around and gun 3's. Disappointing.

It's sucks, I know mechi cares, but maybe now he can help mike recruit a group now that the Webber-groce link has been made. I know alumni teams do add players from other school-pro teams but time to make a list, cross out the NBA level talent, and find a group of 5-10 plus players who probably would play in tbt. Losing our pgs feliz even Tate hurt vs this dawgs squad. Last year daum was playing outside and everything went through him. So with him and bp struggling, and being undermanned we stunk it up today

HoP was up 5 at 49-44 when DMac came in and promptly turned it over twice on lazy passes......Momentum was gone and with only playing 6 players mainly the legs were gone and so was the game.....

I know Feliz had Visa problems, and he would have made a difference, but where were Leron and Tate?

I caught most of the second half and all I saw was launched 3 pointers that missed. Not the best game plan with the talent we had. Oh well, there is always next year. I'm more concerned about the upcoming college season. Go Illini.
