Ayo is getting hosed, but wasn’t Jared Butler supposed to be a near lottery pick?!?

There's so much darned talent out there. Hard to believe we had an outstanding 5-star mega superstar talent who carried the program for 3 years, and yet he's (probably) not even a 1st round NBA pick.
How Illinois is that...our rankings always go down after committing, And leaving./s

Ayo does a lot of things really, really well, which makes him a winner. However, he doesn't jump off the page with any particular skill set. He's not overly athletic and he doesn't shoot the ball exceedingly well.

Ayo is Ayo because he's really tough and really gritty. Those are admirable things, but they aren't measurables and that's what the first round is based on.

Hopefully he falls to the Bulls.
I love Ayo and what he has done for Illini, but if he did “a lot of things really, really well” he’d have been drafted by now. He does a lot of things well but as the guy on ESPN said, “ what is his super power?” Ayo’s all-around talents will serve him well in NBA. Being passed over so many times will also give him that chip on his shoulder. Sucks he hasn’t been picked yet, but he’ll be fine.

Might be getting rather difficult/uncomfortable to be sitting with the Dosumu party in Chicago tonight.

However, I do recall the mock drafts had predicted Ayo to go anywhere between 21-41 tonight. Quite the broad range.

kofi will still at least have the raw angle. Theres a lot of skill to be developed there. But he may be, yes
Please...let's see how things go this season. I think we may be in for a surprise. Not directed at anyone but Kofi is totally different from Ayo.
