I don't know... it seems like the staff likes a certain level of that fire. The team plays with an edge and Underwood just hired Frazier who has always had a bit of an edge.
Don't conflate edge/fire with excessive jawing.

edge/fire: good
lotta jawing: not so good (you don't want to get the zebras' attention)

If it were actually a real problem with Sencire then it would be quite the oversight to include so much of it in his mixtape. Personally I love all of it.

I realize that today's game includes a certain amount of jawing or trash talking...but I believe the B10 and other conferences have given officials the directive to clean this up....hitting players with a quick T for making gestures towards opponents and their bench....for me just play the game...leave the jawing to someone else......showing fire and emotion is great but let your play do your talking

This. Emotion is great, as long as it isn't directed it at the opponent, the crowd or, God forbid, the refs.

Can we not pretend that we were all innocent cherubs when we played sports growing up. It's literally part of every single sport. It's a spectacle, as long it's not derogatory or hateful, I'm all for it. I'd this dude gets a T for trash talking, guess who's going on a date with the treadmill after the game.

Not to get off topic, but remember how close we came to blowing that game after that debacle? And how that all too familiar feeling crept in after UM made a couple of shots? Just a reminder it took BB a few years under BU to learn how to win. I think we are experiencing similar growing pains on the football side right now.
