Going to be intetesting with Melendez, Rodgers and Goode in that 6-7 range. Likely see one play combo guard, wing, and stretch 4.

That is quite something. Brad will be around a long time if he continues to land quality recruits like these young men. Obviously, Chester and Tim played huge roles also. UI loses to MU Monday at 8 pm.
Illini Nation melts and BU can’t coach, Belo sucks, the team sucks, and Illinois will be lucky to be a tourney team…..
Wednesday at noon (40 hours later) one of the best HS hoopsters in the country commits to UI.
Apparently Ty believes BU CAN coach, Belo and the others that CAN play he WANTS to play WITH them, and also knows the trajectory of player development to make it to the next level, accompanied by the future looking bright for Illini basketball….
For all of the Belo, BU, and team bashers of the past two days…..please do not celebrate this signing.
Please go away with your all of a sudden “in Brad we trust” non-sense……nothing worse than a flip flopper.
Please grow up and realize you’re a college basketball fan because you weren’t good enough to be a player or a coach at this level. Period…..the players and coaches know far, far, far more about this game than any of us.

Something tells me that BU's 3 similarly (on paper) talented recruits have a slightly better chance of taking full advantage based on BU's track record.
It takes a Vision. Most of this ongoing Illini success is and will be directly because of the initial vision years ago of two men... Josh (for making an 'elite' coaching hire)... and The Coach.
And what did Coach say when he came to the Illini? Here's a reminder (here's that Vision thing)...
