Watch BUs presser today. He hits on it. They’ve had success. They have proof now that what the dream they WERE selling to previous years recruits have turned into reality. So they are selling results now instead of a dream.Any of our resident insiders able to characterize this staff’s strategy and messaging relative to last year? What’s the same given the BU continuity? What’s different?
See, it’s good to lose a game every once and awhile; recruits commit.
Praying this quote ages well. By all indications and our current trajectory, I think it will.Lotta good stuff in here:
"For lack of a better term, we're sexy again."
If Boswell becomes an out of state recruit, I quit!I love how Rodgers is an in-state recruit to those that want to feel good about getting players to stay in state and an out-of-state recruit for those that want to feel like we pulled a fast one on MSU/Michigan. Best of both worlds!!
That’s a definite Boom class. Thanks IndyCan confirm that the LOI is in
Epps, Harris, and Rodgers all signed. 3 top 100 kids
The 2010 3 man class was pretty good on paperCould this hypothetically be the best trio in one class since Dee, Deron, and James?
Unfortunately, didn't end up that way.The 2010 3 man class was pretty good on paper
Dude, that’s what we pay you for.Haha I purposely have stayed off the basketball boards this week just so I wasn't tempted to spill anything.
As they say, you get what you for.Dude, that’s what we pay you for.
That is quite something. Brad will be around a long time if he continues to land quality recruits like these young men. Obviously, Chester and Tim played huge roles also. Now, if he can just figure out how to make in game adjustments and when to call timeout. All three #1 in their state per 247. Rodgers was #1 when he was in Michigan too

Also video with Rodgers comments on his commitment. He notes "player development" "trust in coaching staff" "going to get me to the next level" in his decision

I don't think i've ever heard that before , but I've led a sheltered life.....As they say, you get what you for.
Sorry, should have said "You get what you PAY for." Didn't mean to make your head explode.I don't think i've ever heard that before , but I've led a sheltered life.....

All three of those guys had oodles of talent, too bad only one of them was able to take full advantage. The 2010 3 man class was pretty good on paper
All I will say is this: The 23 recruiting class could be one of the best one in Illinois history if not the best....
