Think we have a good chance for a W tomorrow against K State, as they have 8 points in the first 10 minutes. That's about as effective as we were tonight after the first 5 minutes

Let’s hope we just got dirt rolled by 2 teams that were vastly underrated
Agreed … no matter what, we’ve proven we are no top 10 team (currently). If Marquette and Cincinnati aren’t potentially top 25, well … we might literally be B-A-D. We looked like it tonight.

A lack of Ayo or Adam Miller or Giorgi or Orlando/Chin/Gentry CANNOT explain this much of a drop off, period. Period! Something is so off, and that’s what’s concerning.

Ayo so far tonight in Chicago - 8 minutes, no points, no rebounds, no assists, 3 fouls. Seems to be a theme.

Time for them to run laps. Lots of them. Or is that too old school for today?

And after running laps, spend an entire afternoon or two running nothing but endless passing and dribbling drills ONLY. No shooting allowed.

And as for locating their ‘heart’... no amount of drills will help with that one. Only a mirror. And open eyes. And if that fails, running more laps.

18 straight missed 3-pt attempts. 18 straight. That + losing the rebounding battle + losing the turnover battle = sure loss.

This team looks totally lost. And they're certainly not performing up to their expected potential. That's pretty disheartening.

Serious question, who is the leader on the team?
No one. That is part of the problem with the team chemistry. Can't be a leader if you care more about your stats, press clippings and how to get to next level, To be leader, it has to be about carrying your TEAM to the W. The other guys on that team have to respect you. I do not think he has the respect of his teammates. Lip service, from teammates, after a bad game is something a good team mate does for the good of holding the team together. We need a leader.

I never say much on here but this was really hard to watch. Our local 7th grade girls team plays better team ball than this team.
I thought it was all about Ayo last season except the Mich. blowout which was team ball. These guys had better learn to pass, cut, set picks and play ball the way it is meant to be played. We may be in a world of hurt this season if this is any indication of what we can expect. There is too much talent to be this lost.

No, our players would rather stand on their head and play with soccer balls in warm-ups before the game (did you see Belo pregame?). Maybe we need to stop all the short videos of players and the team and practice instead.

Wow, this team is hard to watch. No offinsive flow. No one that can make a shot. No one even looks like they would like to tak a shot. Herky jerky and ugly.

Just hard to explain this is basically the same team that blasted Michigan last year without Ayo and is playing like this. Anybody?
That team had an entirely different mentality than this team does. Guys don't get the ball in the same spaces. That team didn't look to run the pick and roll every time down the floor. Belo had to blend in. He no longer seems required to.

Yup agreed. I hope the starting lineup tomorrow is shuffled.
