This whole discussion got me thinking about Charles Barkley. Of course Belo is too young for the ‘y’ word (nobody say it!), but I wonder if something like this is going on...

Way back on November 24th I did post the following: "Injury speculation is off topic. Requesting info on injury updates is off topic."

That was in regards to Trent Frazier after the Kansas State game because of the rampant speculation & nonstop "any injury updates?"-type posts. It was simply too much and unproductive.

I get that people are going to speculate on stuff such as that when time has passed & zero concrete info has been provided. Ultimately, with regards to players having issues & not playing in games imho we simply need to wait it out. With regards to Andre Curbelo I would hope that the situation can be treated with care & respect.

All fair points. People sometimes forget that these are just young student athletes and that everyone has a right to privacy for healthcare related issues. That’s why we have HIPPA. Even my own kids are old enough to withhold health info from me if they wanted to. Anyways, just goofing around about the ‘Y’ thing. Wish AC a speedy recovery.

I remember Curbelo hitting his head VERY hard on the floor early in the Indiana (PA) game. I couldn’t believe they didn’t check him out after that hit. I wonder if that contributed to what he’s out for now.
