I don't disagree that there are budgetary concerns. But what's with your predilection with being a stick in the mud?
Not sure what you mean. Can you provide any evidence that Whitman is outperforming his peers with NIL (large and passionate fanbase notwithstanding)? Evidence to date would seem to show that his financial performance has been below average overall in the B10. Perhaps NIL will be different.

There's a potential transfer that the staff has in mind after the season-was not given a name but have heard it's a big time guard

Joel Goodson

Dainja: nice offensive skills. Very glad he'll be with the squad soon. 9 months of hard work with Fletch should make a big difference.

I trust he’s a bit more explosive than he shows in those clips.

Wasn't part of the knock on him that he put on too much weight due to a foot injury? I'm happy to see him slimmed down.
Maybe he is limited to light work with the foot injury. Just glad we got him and he is getting in the work. He'll get an education soon once he practices with Kofi, as Payne has this year....good for all of them.

Whitman took over a program that needed a huge facilities upgrade in most sports! He understood this and has been willing to spend the money to make this possible. Did you truly want IL to be uncompetitive because we were too cheap to do the type of upgrades necessary to compete in the B1G?
Strawman much?

Bring back Guenther or better yet Mike, the MAC, Thomas.
