If MaxPreps is accurate, which I don't really know. Rodgers is leading his team in points (16.1), rebounds (13.7), assists (7.2), steals (2.9), and blocks (2.9). That's pretty good.

I keep saying, I could really see him step in and run the point at times next year.

Teams have the ability to link their HUDL stats (film breakdown) to their max preps profile if they want. If Thornton does that it’s probably fairly accurate. Hudl will make some mistakes, but on the hundreds of tags they give you per game, I don’t think I’ve ever had to correct more than 4 or 5. Probably looking at about 95+% accuracy.

If your looking for someone to take Trents role as a defender and the Damonte role with better scoring. I think we have it in Rodgers.
I just look at his frame and he looks ready to contribute day 1. I can't wait for him to get up on guys and compete. I expect him to struggle with his offense as most freshman do when they step up in competition quality, speed, strength and size...but I figure his defense will travel and he'll see time on the floor. May not be day 1, but I expect him to be one of the first off the bench.

I've been saying this forever. I think Rodgers will be the Damonte everyone wants, but they also have him listed as a 53% FT shooter.

People need to realize Rodgers is bigger, stronger, and more athletic that most of his opponents. Makes it much easier to put up gaudy numbers. However still needs to work on his shooting. He will likely begin his career as a garbage man, playing tough defense, rebounding, and scoring on drives or putbacks.

That is true. What is remarkable to me is how well he knows how to use that size and strength. He’s ready for bigger competition. I’m not going so far as to say he is B10 ready just yet, but the dude is load and it won’t take him long to adjust.

Wondering what his wingspan is?

Rodgers is one of those guys that looks like he's 25 years old. Love the motor on the kid.
