If you were to stack every one of these ball whipping moments through DMFW’s career into one video, how many minutes do you think that would be add up to?Silver lining….. we now have this……..View attachment 15209

If they think Sunday is going to be easy, this one loss will turn into two. That's the exact mentality. I expect BU to have his guys in the right frame or mind.Welp. Just gotta shake this one off. Good thing the next one is an easy (by Big 10 standards) one at home. Hopefully we can use that one to build moment for down the stretch.
At what point in the game did that happen? Completely missed itIf you were to stack every one of these ball whipping moments through DMFW’s career into one video, how many minutes do you think that would be add up to?
All of the minutes. If you were to stack every one of these ball whipping moments through DMFW’s career into one video, how many minutes do you think that would be add up to?
Yeah, more like he just had to work harder for it tonight than usual. It's amazing what not being elbowed in the face can do for your game.Kofi had 18 and 7 on 7-12 from the field. He was not "neutralized" this game.
I saw the same bro........hustles all the time he is in and is a tough rebounder ......wish he could make more shots in the paint.......as far as more tick , no clue .....I thought BBV looked good while he was in. Tough D, reboundin. Any reason he didn't get more tick?
Is it even an Illini game if Williams doesn't throw a 100 mph heater off some hapless chap while trying to save it from going out?If you were to stack every one of these ball whipping moments through DMFW’s career into one video, how many minutes do you think that would be add up to?
For real, must be easier to shoot when you're only seeing one basket instead of twoYeah, more like he just had to work harder for it tonight than usual. It's amazing what not being elbowed in the face can do for your game.
He will be gone in 60 days thank goodness. hopefully Edey!Ivey Ayo'd us. It was fun to watch him play; I just wish it hadn't been against us
Not an offensive threat and I'm guessing Edey leaning on him was a little more than tiring. Once we needed buckets, no way was Kofi sittingI thought BBV looked good while he was in. Tough D, reboundin. And definitely better match with Edey.
Any reason he didn't get more tick?
I did qualify by Big 10 standards. Not expecting anyone to take the day off, but it's a game we should win.If they think Sunday is going to be easy, this one loss will turn into two. That's the exact mentality. I expect BU to have his guys in the right frame or mind.
I agree. I thought BBV did very well. There was one stretch where Kofi and BBV played at the same time that I really liked.I thought BBV looked good while he was in. Tough D, reboundin. And definitely better match with Edey.
Any reason he didn't get more tick?
There's not a game there where they won't be favored. So you see them winning at Michigan, at Wisconsin and at Michigan State?
Doesn’t matter. You can still be favored and lose on the road. Happens a lot in the Big Ten.There's not a game there where they won't be favored.
Yeah...I think a press may have been worth trying.
We seemed to surrender early.
I think that Purdue shut down a lot of the pick and roll in the second half between Curbelo and Kofi. It left Curbelo occasionally feeding him but often dribble driving as the rest of the team stood around and watched on offense. It made our offense freeze up then no one could hit a three when even wide open. Kofi was even being triple teamed some when he touched the ball so folks were open. It was a very weird sequence of events. This loss was not on Kofi, he did his Job and outplayed both Eddy and Williams, we just didn't go to him, wierd.
This sounds weird but I think our shooting went cold because Purdue shut the Curbelo Kofi pick and roll down then Curbello started dribble driving (to some level of success) and the team stood around and watched then we went cold and couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.Kofi had a decent offensive game with 18 and some good moves down low. He also did ok on defense against Edey 6 for 10 and Williams 2 for 7. We lost because Ivey went off and our shooting went cold.
I agree with BU ......R J is gonna be a star in this league.......reminds me somewhat of what Johnny Davis looked like last year .......showed flashes of brilliance , but needed experience and body building.....
