I mean... he did. If you trip because the man you're defending gets you off balance and moving one direction, that's the definition of getting your ankles broken.
From the steal & dunk the other night?? Where he got slammed to the floor?
Unfortunate. I did notice he hit the goal support pretty hard with the back of his head the game before last. He was fouled on one of his dunks, no call. He was also fouled on an earlier dunk, no call. If refs had called the first one maybe the second one doesn't happen. Hope for quick recovery.
I agree, was thinking something was wrong early last night, didn't him and Embiid hit on the floor and he got clobbered previous game also.Unfortunate. I should know after this year, but isn’t concussion protocol in the NBA usually just a game or two?Depending on the number of games he misses I wonder if this will affect his role in the rotation?
How was that not a foul or is it the NBA rule that if you make the basket, no harm, no foulYeah, I would guess this play. Looked bad when I saw it live... still looks bad.

Yeah, he made the free throw too.???
It was a foul and a foul was called on the play...
Yes. Thank god it was only his brain.Thank goodness Ayo hasn't reinjured his nose again.
I really hope so! Mostly for Ayo's sake, but also selfishly because I have tickets to Saturday's game. On Stacey King's podcast it sounded like he'd already passed through some of the test to return. Fingers crossed he's doing better!I should know after this year, but isn’t concussion protocol in the NBA usually just a game or two?

I think I read somewhere Ayo would be cleared after Wednesday, last.Dunno, but I've heard a lot of ex-NFL players complain that team doctors would routinely pass guys who aren't ready because there's so much pressure to get guys back onto the field. I'm not suggesting that happens in the NBA, but conflicts of interest make me more skeptical. NBA has a much longer season, and more friendly post-season, so it wouldn't surprise me if they invest more in long-term health of the athlete.
