Moved him to the point again, and Maryland with bad 3 point D.Bohanon going off for Iowa. He has struggled from 3 all year I believe, but is lighting it up tonight.
Still not a bubble team because of abysmal nonconference record. IL right now is rated to win 79-75 in their upcoming game at Rutgers. Will be a war.Rutgers?
But not a public school, nor a land grant school.NW original Big Ten.
True, but Iowa and MI are both fighting for that final spot from the Big Ten in the NCAA tourney. Personally, I would prefer Iowa to get it.
I've made my peace with all of them being in. However, it took me nearly a decade to accept Penn State, which itself is a decent fit for the conference. MD and Rutgers aren't, and frankly I'm old enough that I can't get used to Nebraska being in. They're forever Big 8 in my mind. The 'Cats, of course. Though I still remember the early '80s when its football and basketball programs were so consistently awful that serious talk (at least among sportswriters) arose about kicking them out of the conference.Maryland?

I just tuned in and my jaw dropped. When's the last time a BT team hung nearly 60 on someone in the first half? Those are gaudy IU-in-the-mid-'70s / Flying Illini numbers.Squawks hanging 57 in one half against anybody is impressive, let alone @MD.
My friends out here in Pac-12 country like to tease me about how many teams are in the Big “Ten” (like that somehow hurts my feelings ).I've made my peace with all of them being in. The BT is and forever will remain core Midwest to me. PSU can slide, but Nebraska is on the Plains and we all know where Rutgers and MD are. This is the logo I remember and cherish from childhood:

101 pts with 6:00 leftKegan Murray and Bohannon each with 30 points on 22 of 30 from the field. Hawks shooting +62% from the field. Did this Maryland team quit on Manning?
Paraphrasing Benetti from earlier: To say bad defense is being played in this game, you have to change your definition of “defense.”Bohannon 10-16 from 3 for 30
Murray 12-14 also with 30
7:47 remaining iowa has 92
A clear hit-and-run violation. If that had been done to an Illinois player, it would certainly have resulted in a concussion…Outrageous Clemson foul on Duke player dunking. I’ve never seen such a dangerous looking play.
Was very upsetting to watchA clear hit-and-run violation. If that had been done to an Illinois player, it would certainly have resulted in a concussion…
Looked totally intentional, too - didn’t apply the brakes at all…Was very upsetting to watch
Which team is most hated amongst most Illini ? ... MI or Iowa ? Tough question.
