I bet nobody comes out tonight with worse uniforms than what Kansas rolled with last night:

Haven't watched any Big East games this year, but I may tune into Villanova at Providence. Want to see what all the fuss is about these 8th ranked 21-2 Friars. Annual all-pink night for their home crowd. Looking at their roster they don't have anyone over 6'10". 35 years ago Rick Pitino's squad (with a ranking no higher than # 18 at any time in the season) made the final four. Along the way in second round they could have played us, but settled for an OT win over Austin Peay. First year that the ncaa adopted the 3 point shot for all games, and I recall them putting up a ton of them. Led by point guard Billy Donovan.

I'm interested in this one too. Torvik has Providence ranked 38th.

They're basically like the Big East's version of Wisconsin. Lots of good wins that are close, lots of soso wins that are also close, couple blowout losses.

If MSU wins tonight Izzo ties Knight for most Big Ten wins.

I look forward to the day when BU passes them both.

Edit: So, if MSU wins tonight, Izzo will be going for the all-time winningest Big Ten coach in their game against us. Yuk!

BU likely won't pass them unless he decides to coach till he's 80, which is doubtful.

Everybody has droughts. MSU hasn't scored for 5+ minutes. Game tied with under 2 in the first half. Trap game for MSU?

PSU only sending one to the offensive boards and have stopped the MSU fast break. Ugly game, lots of TOs for both teams.

First time watching them but Penn state looks solid on defense.

On offense it seems like they keep running out the clock and getting a contested shot. Harrar has good positioning on the pick and roll but doesn’t seem like they’re getting it in to him.

PSU has, I believe, on of the three least efficient offenses in the BT. Seem to be forcing MSU down to their level in the 2H.
