Walker went off no question, and info believe putting Trent on him would have been a good idea. But outside of the one three, I believe the shots walker was taking are exactly what we want at the end when we have the lead. Long 2’s - he just happened to make them. Plummer is great for offense, but his D is not good and his ball handling is also sub par. I like having Curbello in at the end of games for his ability to initiate offense. Now if we are down? Have to have Plummer for his shot

That was just a tremendous response to the disappointing effort at RU. Certainly the style of play permitted in this one is what give B10 basketball a bad name. However, it is fabulously rewarding to win in EL and watch Tom Izzo‘s head explode while going ape**** the entire game.

100% it was a set play you can see it you watch it again. Kofi would have been hacked and who knows if they even call the foul.

I agree and Curbelo kept getting knocked off with moving picks. He forced him into the shots BU wants, hats off to that kid he made them. Those shots he made were almost entirely long 2 pt shots.

I am encouraged by Coleman today in his limited 14 minutes.. He forced a few MSU turnovers that don't show up in the box score. Had no turnovers himself and other than going 1for 4 he played well. He rebounded and moved the ball well in his limited 14 minutes He didn't force things and played sound solid game. I hope we see his minutes at the 4 go up. Hawk is getting better as his confidence grows. I think he brings a presence at the 4 others can't and will be needed against guys like Hall today and Liddell on Thursday. I'd like to see Hawk at the 4 and Jacob at the 3.

I agree! I imagine half this board was livid with the starting five. Let the man coach!!! BU is up for coach of the year for a reason.

Now, what the heck was up on that foul call and then allowing the 3 pter to count for msu.......The ref , Kelly P ...called the foul on Jake , and it was a foul ,
but he was waving OFF and then pointed down to the court after he blew the whistle ......How was that 3 pt shot then allowed to count ??????
I bet Larry S. had something to do with it ......It's how he refs our games .......poorly......................

great game by all of the players and kudos to Kofi and Jake with the scoring side of it , but , MAN , we play some NASTY defense....never trailed in the game and the dagger by Trent at the end was a thing of beauty........

sitting here with NL # 3 enjoying our third or fourth glass of wine .......might be time to celebrate and take a nap and get ready for that VICTORY chili dinner..............................

12-4 in the B1G ......now we are tied and purdont has the hottest team in the B1G coming to Mackey tomorrow.......
