Frazier puts on his cape and saves us
I believe that goes to Jacob and Kofi! Without their play today it would've been another Rutgers. It's easy to focus on the last hero shot to seal the deal. However, if not for the heroic effort by Grandison and Cockburn, whom at one point had scored as much as the entire MSU team... we'd never been in position. Thankful for the game sealer, but most the praise should go to those two guys! Great team win, but the heroes in my book are those two! I-L-L baby 🔶🔷💯 💪🏾 🔥 ROADKILL!!!

Just also want to say how happy I am that Trent still has the swagger to step up for that three and win us that game. As I mentioned in the pregame thread, this was the last arena besides Maryland left in the conference where Trent and Monte have not gotten a victory. It was extra sweet for Trent to be the one to deliver the dagger!

Wasn’t terrible that’s was the plan. They ran clock and then TF took the shot.
People may not agree, but that is great coaching by BU, IMO. BU puts it in TF’s hands even though he’s been struggling. He knows TF can make a play and putting the ball in his hands at a key moment maybe boosts TF’s confidence to hit the shot. He’s not shooting well, but his coach still has confidence he can hit the shot. Hope it leads to more shots falling for TF!

Big thing I took from this, this was us. Northwestern and Rutgers games weren’t us. We were out of sorts and didn’t play hard. I don’t mind losing. I hate when we don’t play hard. We did again today.
The Arizona game is a good example. I didn't like losing that game but I didn't come away from it feeling icky. We battled the whole time and narrowly missed a W despite being shorthanded.

Great bounceback win, on the road. What a way to respond from a poor performance at the RAC.
The stretch of the RU, MSU, OSU and Michigan games could easily been a result of 0-4, but now 3-1 may be very attainable.
Huge win!

Dang. To think Trent and Monte could have won in EVERH BIG TEN ARENA had we just beaten bottom feeder Maryland… but hey, I’m pretty happy with where we are since that game.

I agree. Interesting today Plummer was on the bench at the end in favor of Curbello. I think that was a very smart decision as his defense is way better than Plummers.
Did you just see what Walker did to Belo?! Belo doesn't fight through screens. He needs to watch film of how hard Trent fights through them. And he never blocks out. If Plummer had been guarding Walker as Belo did, everyone on this board would have been screaming.

In anticipation of a Sparty full-court press, I suspect…

BU on radio interview............................

our first half was a clinic
Pizza hut fight and we won it
having a hard time figuring out our rotations but bench did great
talked about Jake and Fonz doing that early morning workout
defense the first half was as good as it gets
did a great job on Gabe B. and Max C.
next 3 of 4 are home games
happy for the guys to bounce back and beat a ranked team on the road

Now, what the heck was up on that foul call and then allowing the 3 pter to count for msu.......The ref , Kelly P ...called the foul on Jake , and it was a foul ,
but he was waving OFF and then pointed down to the court after he blew the whistle ......How was that 3 pt shot then allowed to count ??????
I bet Larry S. had something to do with it ......It's how he refs our games .......poorly......................

great game by all of the players and kudos to Kofi and Jake with the scoring side of it , but , MAN , we play some NASTY defense....never trailed in the game and the dagger by Trent at the end was a thing of beauty........

sitting here with NL # 3 enjoying our third or fourth glass of wine .......might be time to celebrate and take a nap and get ready for that VICTORY chili dinner..............................

12-4 in the B1G ......now we are tied and purdont has the hottest team in the B1G coming to Mackey tomorrow.......

WHEW................................................................................
Does wine make NL#3's clothes fall off? Asking for a friend.

There are a lot of things you can say about Andre Curbelo, but “nobody complains when he makes a mistake” is not one of them

I don’t think so watch the play again. You can see BU yelling at Curbello to give the ball to Trent. Grandy goes right to the corner for a shot, and Kofi had his back to the play (ready to rebound). I believe that was a set play for Grandy or Trent to take the three
If you run that play thru Kofi, MSU can double him and just hack away knowing that a foul is not a bad outcome. I have no problem putting the ball in the hands of your toughest senior leader and telling him to win the game.
