Finally a chance to sit down and watch! Great road win! Grandy basically tells loyalty, "STFU" and I love it!

Does anyone (any team) not realize cameras are everywhere these days. So, flopping around like a soccer player, after barely getting touched is a bad, bad look.

I'd be madder than three-legged dog trying to bury a turd on an icy pond, if I was down a teammate, trying to play 4 on 5 because of this.

I'm not citing a specific play, just feels like it happened 4 or 5 times today between both team.

I don’t know; maybe I’m naive or just mistaken but just because a guy is tall doesn’t mean he can play center — especially when he’s been playing only the 4 all year. I agree Payne isn’t great and neither is BBV, and I know some people want to see CH get more minutes but no, you don’t insert him at 5 for the first time with 4 games left in regular season. While Hawk might be better overall offensively than Payne, all of his best offensive attributes are nullified by being in the post. I thought Hawk played pretty well today. Let’s just build on that to get him effective at the 4. Next year if Kofi isn’t here and BU hasn’t brought in another big, sure maybe you can install some Hawk at the 5 — but now, no thanks unless it is made a necessity because of injuries.
Could be, but we are a fast athletic team if he is playing the 5. The game has changed so much not sure there are positions anymore. Certainly in the NBA centers are point guards. Your probably right, I just cringe ever time Payne is on the floor. He maybe good down the road, but thank god Kofi came back because he would foul out of every game if he had to play more than 15 per.

I, for the life of me, don’t understand why Brad just continued to leave Curbelo on him.
He was asked that question in the interview, and I can't recall him answering it actually except to downplay it. But he's the coach, and we won.

Izzo is whining about officiating. Was complimentary in a somewhat backhanded way about Trent. He thinks Kofi is getting away with murder while we all think he’s getting hacked on every play. Wasn’t very complimentary of Brad either. “He’s gotten a couple of good player”
I'm not quite sure what you're expecting out of the guy 10 minutes after losing a game. They've lost 4 of 5, they're obviously trending in the wrong direction, he's frustrated....should he be sunshine and roses, patting our guys on the back? Watch BU's post game interview after Rutgers. He wasn't exactly gracious in defeat. These coaches are human.

I love this post! I now have a new one liner to add to the arsenal. It will compliment the “ cat on the tin roof” nicely. Thank you! 😂

Had the joy of being there for this one. Crowd was sleepy most of the game, but it was very lively in there the last 5 minutes. Then Trent hit the 3, and as Robert tweeted, the most wonderful silence filled the arena. The lyric, "Hello, darkness my old friend," came to mind. Poor MSU 😁 Go Illini!

Well the difference the way I saw it was that Hall fell down and started sucking his thumb, pouting that Hawk took his blanky away. And the Ref was right on it too. A fabulous no call.

Oh btw, thanks for your service Arrow 7. I don't get weepy very often, except after a close Illini loss, but I weep for you guys every time I think about the pullout...

Kofi didn’t exactly make his job any easier defending that high screen. He’s gotta help close that door if we go under the screen every time.
That's probably our biggest defensive weakness ... being able to draw Kofi out or make us pay.

also we had a play where BBV got clocked and was down and they let the play run...so both teams got a 5 v 4 freebie

i guess you can argue they should have called in consistenly and they get another freebie, but was there anything in this game truly called consistenly?

That's why BU is the head coach. He doesn't overreact and knows his guys.
The most pissed off he was during the game was when RJ threw that cross court baseline pass out of bounds. Unforced error when we had all the momentum.
