Any update on JJ Taylor? Saw he signed with an NIL agency and seen some Kentucky articles saying they think UK has lost traction with him, so either a 3rd school has emerged or we are making progress right?

Yeah - that’s kinda what I was alluding to earlier. Top 150 or so all have a pretty good chance at making an impact on a college team - character/fit and coaching/development play a role, though talent can overcome a lack of those in some cases
Evaluating prospects coming out of HS isn't that different from doing the same for those coming out of college (though the mean talent-level has shifted). Sometimes talent/potential is overrated whereas mental makeup is underrated. Just saw this happen with Ayo.

Dainja has post moves like Trevion Williams, so im a fan
I wanna believe! Two of the best college guys in the post off the top of my head:

1. Wayman Tisdale - Oklahoma
2. Trevian Williams - Purdue

Ethan Happ also had great feet, but couldn't really shoot beyond 6-7 ft while facing the basket.

If your comments hold true, he'd be in elite company (and should have been playing more at Baylor).

No insider, I just don't see JJ Taylor at Illinois. Seems very focused on being a pro and getting paid. I don't see him fiiting into the team concept at the college level, especially at Illinois. BU/Illinois will do better with the 3-4 year guys that defend, hit the 3s, rebound, great teamates.

I don't know anything about JJ Taylor, but Ayo was also very focused on being a pro. He said he wanted to be a 1 and done ever since he committed. You can be focused on the next level and also be a great teammate and do the little things.

Well all you need to know about JJ Taylor is that he isn't comparable to Ayo.
