“Was”I can add that he's a much better 3 point shooter than Ayo.

He doesn’t have a TON of offers. Haven’t seen anything better than Army but he’s not even on 247. If he’s friends with Paxton maybe a PWO makes sense, though that gives us quite a few PWOsIf Durkin is toying with the idea of forgoing a D1 scholly, I'll be surprised. But he'd be a great PWO add.
So was John Stockton. So was Dee Brown. We could go on and on...He's a below the rim player
We need a dislike button.
Trent Frazier? He’ll be great, Ayo wasn’t considered a great leaper either when he was recruited. So was John Stockton. So was Dee Brown. We could go on and on...
Yes, I just looked in on him, he’s sleeping peacefully.Any news on Kylan?

Recruitment not appropriate to share on social media? Petino helping AZ recruit nowadays? All I'm saying about Kylan, since we love to read way too deep into stuff here, is that he only posted on his Twitter once about the Arizona visit, twice on his Instagram story, and none at all on his Instagram feed. By this time when he was in CU, he had posted like 5 times on Twitter, 3 times on insta story and made a sick post with the throne on his Instagram feed. Does that mean anything? Of course not. Will we give ourselves hope and say it does mean something? Of course we will.
Sweet. Under new rules I think that means he’s barred from choosing AZAll I'm saying about Kylan, since we love to read way too deep into stuff here, is that he only posted on his Twitter once about the Arizona visit, twice on his Instagram story, and none at all on his Instagram feed. I just like that this post is liked by a username "@and 69 others"... Clever.Sweet. Under new rules I think that means he’s barred from choosing AZ
No one is saying he isn’t good and won’t be good with Illini. Someone asked why he wasn’t rated higher, and that likely is the reason. Makes sense to me. Plenty of successful below the rim players, but a lot more that are above the rim players. Makes sense all things being even that the latter would be rated higher. So was John Stockton. The whole complaining about ratings is ridiculous. There are tens of thousands of h.s. basketball players across the country. And a certain percentage are really good. I doubt the posters wondering why Epps is rated "only" 70 or whatever have seen the guys ranked above him. And if you're #70 in the country, that's pretty elite company. No one is saying he isn’t good and won’t be good with Illini. Someone asked why he wasn’t rated higher, and that likely is the reason. agree with all of this. The other thing about those highlights is that they tend to come from summer leagues--AAU stuff--where defense is always optional. It's almost like they have a pact with one another--don't disrupt my highlights. The whole complaining about ratings is ridiculous. The only player I've seen whose highlights leave my wondering why he's ranked "so low" is Dain Dianja. You watch his highlights and it's amazing the things he can do at 6'9 270. Yet out of H.S., I think he was ranked just barely inside the top 100. I suspect the answer is that you're seeing highlights. Which are very impressive, but may not show what he's doing the rest of the time. Which could be not playing defense or running the court.
Actually, Reeves has a complete offensive game. And he plays defense. And is more mature--has at least 2 yrs. at the D1 level. His shot looks similar to Ayo's. Quick release.
The thing I saw Dain do that made me think he could actually play the 4 in a pinch, is shoot. Unlike Kofi, I saw a face-up game; mid range and long range jump shots (in addition to the countless dunks of course). The whole complaining about ratings is ridiculous. Yup. He seems to have a very impressive arsenal of offensive skills and I agree he could play the 4 in addition to the five. From my limited knowledge, it seems that if he dedicates himself to playing solid defense (in addition to being healthy), he is likely our starting 5 next year (if Kofi leaves). The thing I saw Dain do that made me think he could actually play the 4 in a pinch, is shoot. Boy - that is about as plain vanilla of a thank you as one can get. Which I like!
"thank you but no" is the vibe I'm getting off of this
