I just ran my off-the-cuff predictions for the rest of the year on the legendary BTT seed simulator, including us winning out as I think we will, and I got these final standings (in order of BTT seed, with the regular season champs in bold):

1. Purdue (15-5)
2. Ohio State (15-5)
3. Illinois (15-5)
4. Wisconsin (14-6)
5. Rutgers (12-8)
6. Iowa (12-8)
7. Michigan State (11-9)
8. Michigan (10-10)
9. Indiana (10-10)
10. Penn State (8-12)

13. Minnesota (4-16)
14. Nebraska (1-19)

This would have us playing the winner of Iowa and Nebraska/Northwestern in the Quarterfinals and the winner of Ohio State and MSU/PSU should we make it to the semifinals. Kind of a brutal road, but I actually don't mind the idea of a rematch with OSU and Iowa so close. Hopefully we are riding high like last year!

I think they key for us is to stay out of the 4 seed. I really feel Purdue is the best team and there is not much separation between Wisconsin, Illinois, tOSU, MSU, Rutgers and even Iowa. Our best potential seed in the big dance is to avoid playing Purdue until the BTT championship (and in this case not sure it would mean anything to our seed). Having to play Purdue on Saturday will have an effect on our NCAA seeding. If we could win it for sure huge boost, but it also means we were the 4 seed in the BTT so we would have lost to probably Michigan and maybe even Iowa.

So if Wisconsin gets one more loss and we win out, that’s at least. 3 way tie yeah?

Would be great if WI lost both. Assuming we win out and tie with PU for B1GMBB, we will be #2 seed in the B1GT

Would we rather see Arkansas lose or UK

Don’t see us getting ahead of UK with our lost to O$U but Arkansas could move ahead of us

Tough call because I think our ceiling is a 3 seed. If UK can be the “best” 2 seed they would get Midwest (Chicago bracket) over Purdue. This would allow us to be the 3 in that same bracket (huge for us). Big problem though, Auburn can not be the 1 in that same region as both Uk and Auburn are SEC schools.

That's what's really impressed me about his game. Great feel for where the ball is coming off the rim and a super high motor... Pair that up with his strength and you have a fantastic rebounder. Could be a really good role player in the league.

Scarlet Knights need to take care of business coming off a two game losing streak. I think Wiscy is a bad matchup for them, but if Mulcahy pulls his head out of his butt, he'll be the difference maker for the upset.

I think Tennessee may beat Auburn today. I would lie to see them go on a losing streak

Me too, we need a 4th number one that is not Auburn. Texas Tech, Baylor or Villanova (this would really help) because Kansas would get Chicago as the 1, UK as the 2 and maybe us as the 3.
