I couldn't figure out how the hell they won in Maui. I think they hired Loyola's nun.
Very true, but the only way that you don't rely on other teams to lose to win a B1G title is to go 20-0. Guaranteed a co-champ without any help.
And Michigan will have a fair chance of winning the BTT (especially if they can keep Howard away a little longer).

Wisconsin wins because they don’t have a bad free throw shooter on the team. That not only pays off at crunch time, but for the entire 40 minutes. They don’t brick the front end of one and ones, and therefore don’t piss away free points. Purdue wins tonight had Ivey not laid bricks at the line in the first 30 minutes.
If we win out and Wisconsin wins against Nebraska we’re the 2 seed in the BTT. That’s just downright brutal for Purdue since we lost to them twice this season.
That must suck.
Just slightly. 2/3 same difference. It's tough to beat a good team like Illinois three times, but Purdue can beat anybody most days. They might as well be on our side.
We can still win a share but highly unlikely.
Purdue won't shot 55percent from the line missing several front ends of one n ones vs us ever. Wtf. Stars aligned for the Badgers. I wish we played a balanced schedule in the B10.

Hey, NEBRASKETBALL has arrived!! I’m more worried about winning our two games, honestly, especially vs. Iowa.
We need that AND two other things to happen.
We broke both Purdue and Ohio State.
If Purdue plays like they did tonight and loses to IU, Matt Painter will be under fire again in West Lafayette. He is wasting a loaded team. He reverted to his Carson Edwards mode with Ivey tonight, and it failed.

I hope they will….but they won’t. Mike LaTulip had a interesting take on the big ten coach of the year. He said that Greg Gard beat the preseason predictions of the media. In His opinion, it was just a bad prediction so why reward a coach bc the media missed it.
. Guessing he’ll get coach of the year too.
We’d have to beat Purdue in our 2nd game. That’s a tall task for us.
At least the prospect of Nebby somehow beating Wisconsin isn't quite as ludicrous as it was going into the night. In all likelihood, though, we end up not losing in the regular season to the eventual sole B1G champs. Just sad
I don't think that matters being that he's owned IU for about 5 years before this season. What matters how well he does in the tournament. This team was one of the few teams picked to win it all and if he has another early exit then he will be under tremendous fire. This is probably his most talented and deepest team. He has to get to at least the Elite 8 with this group.
