Not sure which I prefer, East region and get the first weekend in Mil or Midwest and get a potential 2nd weekend in Chicago.
I wanna go there specifically because nobody wants to go there. Should be cheap to get thereNerd alert: I made this spreadsheet a few weeks ago when I was considering pulling the trigger on buying Milwaukee tickets. At the time, I thought it looked like a near lock that Illinois would go to Milwaukee. Glad I didn't buy 'em because Pittsburgh/Buffalo looks entirely possible now. Updated it a few minutes ago to reflect today's Bracket Matrix.
Ultimately, where Illinois goes depends on what the committee thinks of a) Purdue vs. Tennessee and b) Illinois vs. Wisconsin vs. Arkansas. If the seeding were done according to today's matrix, Arkansas would get sent to Buffalo. Of course, we'll find out in less than 24 hours, lol.

Edit: Moral of the story seems to be... don't put NCAA games in Buffalo. Nobody wants to go there.
Maybe it’s so expensive BECAUSE nobody is trying to go there? Low demand = low supplyI wanna go there specifically because nobody wants to go there. Should be cheap to get there
Edit: I was WRONG. Not cheap at all. Who in the world is trying to go to buffalo that it’s so expensive
Yeah but we’re only a couple days out from those flights they have been available for God knows how long. At this point they should be darn near giving them away.Maybe it’s so expensive BECAUSE nobody is trying to go there? Low demand = low supply
Very winnable path to the S16. Beyond that, it doesn’t really matter which bracket. Gonna need to beat a really good team to advance to the E8.This is the current draw I am seeing through CBS. Shocked we did not end get lined up with the Fighting John Groce's but theres still time. If this is the draw we get or anything similar to it this would be BRUTAL.
It's expensive because fuel costs are through the roof.Maybe it’s so expensive BECAUSE nobody is trying to go there? Low demand = low supply
Vermont is 28-5 and won their conference championship game by 40 points. This is the current draw I am seeing through CBS. Shocked we did not end get lined up with the Fighting John Groce's but theres still time. If this is the draw we get or anything similar to it this would be BRUTAL.
Would love this scenarioLunardi's update today has us as the 4 seed in the East playing Princeton in the 1st round in Milwaukee. 5/12 matchup is LSU vs. Notre Dame/Wyoming winner.
Palm also has us as 4 seed in the East playing Vermont in the 1st round in Buffalo. 5/12 matchup is UConn vs. UAB.
Yuck. I get we have to beat good teams to get to the FF, but damn we need to make the SS. I don’t want to have to hear about underseeded teams and how we got a bad draw ever again! This is the current draw I am seeing through CBS. Shocked we did not end get lined up with the Fighting John Groce's but theres still time. If this is the draw we get or anything similar to it this would be BRUTAL.
Is his last name Krutwig?RE: Vermont, just noticed their 6-8 250lb forward and leading scorer is from Schaumburg, IL.
Davis and Wisconsin reminds me of Brandon Roy at Washington (sorry for the flashbacks)Trying to figure out my strategy to fill out brackets this year. I am normally a Big Ten bias filler and think the conference brutal season prepares teams.
I think PU is a tough match up for anyone but doesn’t play D well
Wisky is reliant on Davis
Iowa is probably going to be gassed after this BTT but Ofense is off the charts
O$U freshman and Liddell could do well in March
I drink the kool aid on Illinois
So question is will the Big Ten be exposed this year or will we have a few teams make a deep run
IMHO, would not be a terrible draw. If, if, IF Illinois gets to the Sweet 16, they're likely going to be underdogs against a very good team. Would take Baylor over Arizona and Gonzaga. Heck, I guess I'm rooting to be in Baylor's region. This is the current draw I am seeing through CBS. Shocked we did not end get lined up with the Fighting John Groce's but theres still time. If this is the draw we get or anything similar to it this would be BRUTAL.
Lunardi was updating his 2 and 3 seeds after the games yesterday, even though Dan Gavitt said, on national tv, that the 1 through 9 seeds were already set as of Saturday morning. Kinda tarnishes his credibility.Would love this scenario
I'm in the same boat as you. Drank the B1G kool-aid last year and then it was a bracket catastrophe.Trying to figure out my strategy to fill out brackets this year. I am normally a Big Ten bias filler and think the conference brutal season prepares teams.

I think it’s the networks trying to build hype for these conference tournaments. This is one of the few times that teams are playing multiple games on no rest. I don’t think the tournament get the same weight as regular season gamesLunardi was updating his 2 and 3 seeds after the games yesterday, even though Dan Gavitt said, on national tv, that the 1 through 9 seeds were already set as of Saturday morning.
