The only way IL can be a 3 and perhaps easier way Iowa can be a 5 is for both to be thrown out west. We shall see.

Bracket matrix actually scores all the bracketologists on accuracy (3pts for each team predicted, 3pts for each seed correctly predicted, 1pt for each seed incorrectly predicted but within 1 seed line). Over a 5-year average Lunardi ranks 55th out of 135 and his score is 7 pts. above the mean, on average. So he's not the best, but he is above average in the field, FWIW.

There hasn’t been a 4 seed to win a national championship in forever. Arizona in 1997 was the last. Sweet 16 remains the goal for me. Team is fully capable of more, and fully capable of less.

I would be very surprised to see a 3 by our name today.
Quick look through some of the higher rated sites with more active years... See a lot of lower 4 seeds for us.
Feel that we will be a 4. Would be very disappointed with a 5, but would not put it past the committee. Would be shocked with a 3.
That's where I'm at. Unfortunately I would be more surprised with a 3 seed than a 5 seed.
I think, based on the Feb 19 seeding by the committee, UCLA is the team that snuck into a 3 seed of late. Illinois and Wisconsin are the 4 seeds, with Iowa and Arkansas coming up to take 4 seeds with Providence and Texas sliding back.
