Man, I wish one of those guys would tell Seth Davis to shut up
Wisky lost as well..Haven't read the whole thread, but I assumed our first round tournament loss meant that Wisky would get that treatment over us.
Efficiency ratings historically do a pretty good job of projecting how teams will do. Kenpom has Houston at #4. Providence at #49. That's a pretty huge difference. Torvik has Houston at #2 and Providence at #45. NET has Houston at #3 and Providence at #33.Disagree. Providence certainly over-achieved and pulled some rabbits out of their hat, but they won the Big East. Houston has one quad one win, and it’s against a team that beat them twice this year (and their seed was locked in before they beat Memphis today).
He just hates the BIGSeth Davis is a choade
Man I've been kind of neutral on Davis over the years but after reading his columns in the Athletic and his performance or whatever you want to call it on this selection show, he is a Grade A !!!!!!!.Man, I wish one of those guys would tell Seth Davis to shut up
They have big guards and the have DeSouza from KU as their C. Kofi will eat his lunch. Hopefully we will go in hungry. If we do we can make a run.Seth said size at every position. Big guards gm have given us trouble. See Penn state game.

There were no top 2 seeds and unless you're Wisconsin....they all got displaced. Speaks to the fact that there were no great teams, but a bunch of good ones. The committee has spoken. So what’s the advantage of winning the Big Ten and beating the team that you shared the title with only to get a lower seed?
Half of the field is. You put 9 in, this is bound to happen.Half of these will be one and done...
I'd day that's about right.Half of these will be one and done...
I do think Providence is an easy 4, but their rated that way because they pulled out three of their last seven in OT.Efficiency ratings historically do a pretty good job of projecting how teams will do. Kenpom has Houston at #4. Providence at #49. That's a pretty huge difference. Torvik has Houston at #2 and Providence at #45. NET has Houston at #3 and Providence at #33.
NCAA does not like Illinois... We will have to force our hand go get the CHIP!So we get the NET #3 team and the KenPom #4 team as a 5 seed. It has a familiar ring to it.
NET 31. All that matteredThere is NO way a 14 loss Michigan team should be an 11. It's insane to me.
Yes like the arguably BEST team in the tournament that has already beat us once this yearObviously Arizona is a load to deal with of course.
