Kofi spent to much time setting high screen and was out of position for offensive rebounds this year.I think that Kofi adding a 3 point shot as a possibility would be a game changer. Its hard to justify as a coach to have your 7 foot dominant post player do that...but it would be personally beneficial to him. And perhaps if we have some additional size out on the floor we can get a larger share of offensive boards even if Kofi is shooting a few 3s a game(or hell...maybe he'll just make them all?). That being said I have yelled at my tv about how stupid Hunter D is when he gets carried away shooting them instead of going inside for Michigan...and I love seeing those guys fail.
I think the best comp for Kofi in the league is probably Udoka Azukuike...but he's behind Gobert and the guy keeps getting hurt so its hard to tell what kind of impact he could have. When he has played, though, he's done pretty well. Kofi needs to commit to improving his outside shooting or his rim protection and then he will have a good NBA career.
