So…. Who are they gonna slap?I’m just gonna chalk some of this up to these guys love Illinois so much they only hear what makes them happiest

not to be rude, but we'd want Williams why? 23% from 3, 63% FT

Have to imagine he'd be after Shannon and Miller in the pecking order. Im guessing Murray is headed to Georgetown, but he'd surely be higher on the order as well.
Did anyone here actually watch what Houston's big, long, guards did to our undersized backcourt? Lol. He's a 6'5 point guard that takes care of the ball well, rebounds, and plays good defense. I think he would be a great add. Shot 32% from 3 as a freshman, not unrealistic that his shooting can improve.DEFENSE

I’m still just a little confused on the fit. Maybe he’s not a take for a couple more weeks until we fully see who is on the market
he would be a bench guy (backup point). Elite defender with a lot of upside. Still three years leftI’m still just a little confused on the fit. Maybe he’s not a take for a couple more weeks until we fully see who is on the market
Depending on what happens with Podz, a guard rotation of Clark (6'3), Epps (6'2), TSJ (6'6), Williams (6'5), makes us a look a lot more like teams that play deep into March. It's okay to have some big guards that aren't all knockdown shooters.I think people aren't realizing yet that once you get bigger on the perimeter, the need for everyone to be a good three point shooter lessens. I'll take streaky shooters that can more consistently get to the paint and get fouls.
Was Payne with them?I don't think BBV would've been heading out to recruit TSJ with Kofi if he was planning on hitting the portal anytime soon.
He seems like a culture guy and he's provided good spot minutes backing up KC. I think he stays.
I think he’s a take now. 6’5 great defender, and great floor general. Hit or miss shooting but if you have 4 other scorers on the court then it’s fine.I’m still just a little confused on the fit. Maybe he’s not a take for a couple more weeks until we fully see who is on the market

I am well aware of all the Alan Huss talk at the time. Not trying to pick a fight, but he did say “in place and signed”. The rumor was pretty much out there at this point. I believe he came in strong and definitive to give the impression that he was an insider. Then, the “deal” fell apart and our newest “insider” didn’t post for months. You can take dish, I’ll take the field. Not saying Dish has any credibility but have you forgotten when we thought we were hiring the Creighton assistant and he reportedly backed out?
Tim AndersonDid they say why they think he's going to Illinois? He's going to visit both schools, so I'd have thought they'd have more confidence.
That's a horrible take. Different positions, different skill set.Guy like this shows you how much BU loves DMFW. He wants another one.

If the guy can be a serviceable point guard, with length, and good defense, then you take that all day no matter what you get from his shot. Especially if he is expected to be a bench guy.I think he’s a take now. 6’5 great defender, and great floor general. Hit or miss shooting but if you have 4 other scorers on the court then it’s fine.
Even per the stats Grandy was our second best player after Kofi. Would really love it if he stayed. It would be good for team culture continuity, also.I’d love it if Grandison came back for another year he was more instrumental to this teams success than just stats.
Even if he was planning to hit the portal (I hope he isn't) I can think of a lot worse ways to spend an evening than goin out on the town with Kofi and crewI don't think BBV would've been heading out to recruit TSJ with Kofi if he was planning on hitting the portal anytime soon.

Let’s also not forget he averaged 4.3 assists per game and we do not *currently* have an experienced point guard on the roster. For reference, Trent averaged 4.1. Slightly better rebounding numbers as well and both elite defenders. If the guy can be a serviceable point guard, with length, and good defense, then you take that all day no matter what you get from his shot. Especially if he is expected to be a bench guy.
Take a look at Monte last year, can’t have someone on the court who’s not a threat to score.DEFENSE
