I believe that we get Skyy and get whichever wants to declare first TSJ or Murray. We do not need both. With just those two, we will be loaded, Kofi back or not. Top to bottom, this would be the most talented 13 in Illinois history. Let this first domino drop then watch everything fall into place. BU is building a top notched program. Light years from 2017 when Groce had us buried in the lower half of the B1G

The future is now - I would prefer TSJ if he is willing to commit. Sounds like Georgetown is trying to get the entire LSU team to transfer there.

Sure, but 3 time zones to the east we get to 2:30 (and 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, etc.) 3 hours ahead of you!

The roster would be in great shape. One of the best on paper in a long time. But to say it would have more talent than the ‘05 team seems like a stretch to me…

I was talking about the entire 13 not just the top 7. We could not go that deep in 2005 as we will next year. Now if Randle did not get hurt, then that 05 team could go 10 deep.

How could Chin make empty promises if the kid never even arrived to campus?

“It’s probably best for both parties involved because UK will return Wheeler and target a combo guard in the transfer portal. Cason can also run point.

Skyy had been trending in the wrong direction as a prospect for the past couple of years. Got a little too heavy, struggled to defend laterally. Hadn’t played many games the last couple of seasons and struggled against competition.

Great shot and handle but I think he’d do much, much better at a program that doesn’t have the ‘’machine” that UK has in place where it’s produce or get recruited over.

Skyy is a PHENOMENAL kid and I’m going to be rooting for him no matter where he goes.”

If I as to rank the top 5 Illinois teams in my lifetime, it would be 89, 05, 01, 84 and 81. This next years team will be in that conversation.

1984 B10 champion team Bruce Douglas Efrem Winters George Montomery Doug Altenberger and Quinn Richardson that lost in Elite 8 at Rupp Arena to KY team with Sam Bowie Melvin Turpin Kenny "Sky" Walker 54-51. The NCAA banned teams from playing NCAA games at home arena after that year.

All 5 starters on 2005 team had some time in the NBA. That could be possible with the team Of Kofi, Hawk, RJ, TSJ, and Skyy but certainly need a lot of development. Do think they have the potential which is very much unlike the 21 team.

I remember someone saying Grandison is not returning, no clue if thats reliable though. Haven't seen anyone comment on Hutch, but its something I couldve missed.

Or there is one guy that doesn't appear physically capable of playing and another one that may be ready to move to another chapter of life.
