Has there been anything reported on Adam Miller and possible destinations? I’m still thinking he would be a great addition (in a vacuum) and wish he’d never left.
Without the benefit of post-injury game tape, he’s probably going to have to wait until some other dominoes fall to create a market for good teams.Has there been anything reported on Adam Miller and possible destinations? I thought he'd be declaring for the draft after a year at UK.Bryce is welcome to be a preferred walk-on.
HS kids are learning that an Illini offer is a perishable commodity. If you don't take it they will use it on somebody else and you may not get a second chance.
I tend to agree. We just don’t know which version of Clark we are getting. Does he need a year of work to regain his form or can he return to his previous form and be a potential one and done? The former seems most likely, but we will keep recruiting.
With Clark in the fold, I don't see Ames coming, but who knows?
I’ve heard Marquette was the leader not too long ago. With Clark recently coming into the fold alongside Epps, I feel like that would only hurt our chances for Ames…

Didn't realize he had attended North Carolina....TSJ’s grades were an issue because he has too many of them.
It has been cleared up.
Around 2:16 in this video (YouTube) is my favorite Pistol Pete pass.My all time fav Maravich play...leading the fast break...hit the FT line with a teammate on each side, went with a behind the back pass with his left hand all the way around his body and back to the teamate on his left! Tried it in an intramural game soon after...fail.
Agreed. Is he going to commit to a program already packed with quality young guards? It's hard for me to think so.

Generally, I refrain from responding to "penetrating observation" posts, but this one takes the cake.Let's just get Kofi back and not spend time worrying about these other guys. I don't mean we should stop recruiting them, but Kofi is key on so many issues.
Did you know he can juggle tennis balls, and kick soccer balls?Did not know that but 1) congrats Kofi!, and 2) wish we would publicize that more
I would presume the best case goal of the season is to get Skyy into the NBA next year and get AmesAgreed. Is he going to commit to a program already packed with quality young guards? It's hard for me to think so.
Yep. It might be hard to sell a top of the line guy 20-25 min per game and if he is not that good, why do we want him? Maybe we need to go to a defense first guy who can shoot some and value the ball as a bench guy.Biggest need (I'm assuming Kofi's back and TSJ is in), by far, is an experienced PG. Preferably a one year guy. Underwood is going to have quite a balancing act on his hands regardless of who he brings in. Ramey fits the bill almost perfectly, but I question if he'd be ok with reduced minutes (and all that goes with it). He averaged 33.5 and 31.5 minutes per game the last 2 seasons.
Kofi and TSJ would claim all scholarships, right? Are we still expecting another transfer/Crean/domino, aka a transcromino?Biggest need (I'm assuming Kofi's back and TSJ is in), by far, is an experienced PG. Preferably a one year guy. New rules for next year.Did you know he can juggle tennis balls, and kick soccer balls?
Ramey is pretty strong defender again not sure how many minutes are to be hadYep. It might be hard to sell a top of the line guy 20-25 min per game and if he is not that good, why do we want him? Maybe we need to go to a defense first guy who can shoot some and value the ball as a bench guy.
You tell himNew rules for next year.
1. No tennis ball drills before a game. Work on game situations
2. No headstands...never has anyone done a headstand in a game.
3. No soccer balls
4. Win NCAA championship
I'll pass, he is bigger in person than on TVYou tell him
Yeah, I’m one of those. I used to post on the Illiniboard as ALionEye, and then dropped out for a while. Now that name got hijacked by somebody else. Still lurking about, though.A lot of us have been lurking for years and we’re very active before under different usernames.
