Podz can play PG and with his size and having to defend Trent all last year in practice, I have no issues with the PG spot. But I would not mind a defensive specialist at PG so Podz can play the 2 exclusively as scoring from whomever we bring in to play backup minutes at the 1 won't be a priority. We, as fans still do not know where the next domino falls but we will know Kofi's fate by no later than the 24th. Will TSJ wait that long if he wants to play with Kofi? Will Murray commit and allow us to finish with the 2/3 spot? We should know more this week I am guessing.
I saw nothing that led me to believe Podz could play point on a full time basis.

Which is why we are still probably recruiting a PG, hopefully a good experienced one.

I like what little we saw of Podz last season, but did he play PG even one minute?, even when
Trent's legs were falling off? BU knows what he's doing. LOL

We didn’t see much of podz and nothing I saw said “PG”.

Haven't heard much from insiders this weekend....TSJ slipping away? Is the longer that Kofi makes his decision giving more schools the opportunity to poach him away?

Good coaches don’t want to have to play SGs at Point. In fact, they generally want more PG types on the floor. The only PG types on next year’s team (as of now) are Clark and Epps.

Could Podz play a minute or two there in a pinch? Sure but probably not ideal.

It so silly how some fans just suddenly dismiss these two great AC's just because they defect to UK. If they were still here they'd be singing their praises like a Southern Baptist choir.

Nothing worse in this world than hypocrites. Okay liars and cheaters. And I guess Will Smith.
Don't think he was dismissing them. He was kind of dismissing Chin, but really just saying he isn't top 20 and saying a top 20 list without Antigua isn't ideal.

I have heard no news either way on Terrence Shannon Jr. since he announced 3 days ago that he was for sure not going to return to Texas Tech. I don't think there are necessarily tea leaves to read into it, it's possible he just took the weekend off.

It's OK to enjoy our current asst's success so far...and not be haters.
