I don't see any orange and/or blue in the photo
It's Brad's Mini-Me.Man! The kid behind them in the 1st photo looks like a BU clone at 12 years old!!!
It's Brad's Mini-Me.
Don't you mean draining lol
Chin and another UK guy at 17 & 18 don't see Orlando, did I just miss him?
45 in a game? Clearly the next Pistol Pete.
Are we, though?Pipe down, Dave. We're trying to read about the Illini.
Eh, I take these rankings with a big grain of salt. It's based on who 247 attributes as the lead to a recruit, and based on just one cycle. This ranking is based only on 2022 recruits, and UK only has 2 in this class. One is attributed to Chin, the other to Jai Lucas, so OA is absent from the rankings. They have one 2023 commit, and it's a five-star with OA listed as the lead, so he'll be in those rankings.Chin and another UK guy at 17 & 18 don't see Orlando, did I just miss him?
Chin being top 20 and Antigua being absent from the list makes it very hard to take seriouslyChin and another UK guy at 17 & 18 don't see Orlando, did I just miss him?
Seems like they need to make some kind of 3 to 5 year running score or something to give a clearer pictureEh, I take these rankings with a big grain of salt. Edit: you can see the 2023 rankings, and at the moment they have OA as #3 https://247sports.com/Season/2023-Basketball/CompositeCoachRankings/
I'm curious....did they have breakfast at the pancake house?Pretty quite on the Murray visit other than the picture.
IMHO, the first post that you referenced was open to several different lines of interpretation, and people misunderstood you.Why is it that other schools can have freshmen guards, do well, but Illini can't?
Very quite on here today. Just a shade over 2 pages on the Recruiting Thread.I'm curious....did they have breakfast at the pancake house?
It'll probably remain that way until Kofi decides what he's going to do.Very quite on here today. Just a shade over 2 pages on the Recruiting Thread.
Isn't Murray supposed to announce tomorrow? It'll probably remain that way until Kofi decides what he's going to do.
YepIsn't Murray supposed to announce tomorrow?
Podz can play PG and with his size and having to defend Trent all last year in practice, I have no issues with the PG spot. But I would not mind a defensive specialist at PG so Podz can play the 2 exclusively as scoring from whomever we bring in to play backup minutes at the 1 won't be a priority. We, as fans still do not know where the next domino falls but we will know Kofi's fate by no later than the 24th. Will TSJ wait that long if he wants to play with Kofi? Will Murray commit and allow us to finish with the 2/3 spot? We should know more this week I am guessing.IMHO, the first post that you referenced was open to several different lines of interpretation, and people misunderstood you.
I initially read your post as a criticism of the Illinois program... as in, we might bring in good freshman recruits but we can't develop them or they don't live up to the billing.
I know you later clarified to say that you had confidence in the incoming freshmen, and I pretty much agree with you. I think Epps and Clark could hold down the PG spot just fine, though Clark's ACL situation gives me the tiniest bit of doubt. For that reason, I would have no issue if Underwood brought in an experienced guard who can handle and play adequate defense as an insurance policy. There's no guarantee Epps and Clark will be healthy all year, either.
I was more commenting on players Illinois WILL get. Sorry.Isn't Murray supposed to announce tomorrow?
