I'm late to the party (as usual) and just want to say welcome Skyy Clark to the University of Illinois!
Skyy is going to play such a huge role next season and I can't emphasize how thrilled I am that he choose Illinois.

And to all the clowns at Kentucky (coughOrlando & Chin cough) better luck next time

I’d like to poke some fun at Chin by saying the best thing he did for Illinois was leave…. However, we probably don’t get Ayo without Chin and we would not be where we are today without Ayo’s legacy, so I will forever be thankful for his time here.

Ayo IS the legacy. I imagine he is our best marketing guy since 21 century, better than Deron. I imagine the coaches play the video of his mid range iso shot beating Michigan in the 2020-2021 season again and again to guard recruits.

True. I guarantee you Curbelo wasn't getting more minutes based on his offensive grade out. It was defense that got him on the floor.

Haha fair. Ayo certainly did all those things but would go through stretches where he'd lose agressiveness. I guess I more meant having multiple options on the team that were consistent driving threats.

Bolded is the key part, b/c Curbelo has those type of handles and driving ability (though his decision-making as far as when to make use of those handles often hurt him), but he could only reliably score from 1 level.
