Kofi Coburn is hoping to stay in the state if Illinois ideally playing for the Chicago Bulls but is open to possibly playing one more at Illinois.fansided.com
“I don’t care if I go un-drafted,” Cockburn said. “I know when I get my opportunity I am going to show people that I belong there. Ayo went out and he did it and people realize now that he was really a lottery pick. I have that spirit, I’m a real hard worker, I’m focused, I’m dedicated at the end of the day that is going to pay off, it’s gonna show.”
“My coach (Brad Underwood) is not coaching me in college basketball to send me to the next level, he is coaching me to win basketball games here,” Cockburn said. “In the future I will have the opportunity to show people what I am capable of doing– that I am capable of playing at the next level.”
If Kofi choses Option A) Stay at Ilinois and collect NIL $, I'm thrilled; If he chooses Option B) Go to the NBA and be a Pro, I say thanks for everything, best of luck, I'm pulling for you; With regard to Option C) Enter the Transfer Portal and play for another University.....I'm an unhappy camper.

Am I overthinking it ??.............................I never thought about overthinking it........Am I subconsciously overthinking it or am I intentionally overthinking it to the point of being unaware of what my thoughts are ??

The insiders haven't touched on it as much but several other posters have. You don't make an announcement that you are going to make a announcement to 1) enter the portal 2) declare for the draft. An announced announcement is almost always, this is my school choice. IMO!

One of my ex girlfriends used to keep a gallon jar full of gummy bears on her kitchen counter. One day she confided in me that she was constipated and hadn't been able to go for three days. I told her maybe she was plugged up with gummy bears. Next time I came over the jar was gone.
My source says Kofi is gone.
Not necessarily, announcing an announcement does not disqualify declaring for the draft, in fact it probably has no affect on it.

Late season there was significant chatter from our insiders re a top level player from a legit program that was seemingly a lock to transfer to the beloved. Was going to surprise a lot of people…. I can’t recall specifics, nor do I have the desire to look back at posts…
Has “said player” changed course, gone elsewhere, declared for the draft, stayed put…?
Just wondering if our insiders have heard of a transfer that has not been discussed as of yet, but the staff/program has some knowledge will still occur?
As an aside….from this 58 year old fanatic of IL basketball, you guys are very much appreciated by me…and I’m sure many others. Thanks for sharing the things that you’re comfortable sharing.
