It’s good to see everyone dreaming and having fun but there is a reason why Cam was going to a school on the East Coast and also why E. Bates isn’t playing for Memphis next year. Cams Dad want him on the East Coast and BU and E Bates Dad have different opinions on program cultures.

All those highlights are from his best game of the season Louisville. I also read that he shoots almost 30% of the time he touches the ball, he jacks up a ton of shots. Shoots 12 to 18 shots per game. his field-goal percentage is not good from 2pt. or 3pt. land! Hard pass, unless him and coaches discuss team philosophy! The man can create his own shot on plus side.

Here's what I think. We get Jones, Whitmore, and Bates. The starting lineup could then be 5 wings with Ty, RJ, Jones, Whitmore and Bates as the starting 5 creating a true positionless team. WingU to a whole new level.

Maybe I'm wrong, I'm not an insider, but I don't see Whitmore backing out. This all is being orchestrated quite well from Villanova. Wright retires and then hours later a head coach is named. Pretty obvious that this has been in the works. I would think that Whitmore knew this was coming on some level. I'd imagine there's been conversations about the change and he's on board.
I could be wrong, but it just seems too planned to surprise Cam.

Many thought Iowa would be lower tier without Garza and turns out they win Big Tournament and we’re better.
