Put me in the column of this upcoming team will be more talented and versatile than last year. We will lose on perimeter defense, but I think better shot blockers underneath. Crazy, because we had Kofi, but he wasn't a great shot blocker.
Offensively, we will run and run and run. We have drivers and bigs who can stretch it a bit. We were so dependent on dumping it to Kofi and the three last year, when that didn't happen we a weave on the premier, we did get almost any shot we wanted from it, but very basic.
Biggest problem, when they get hit in the mouth, who is the calming voice.
Top 3 B10 finish.

Completely agree! We are losing tremendous experience and interior presence but we are replacing that with guys that have far greater ability to create and score. It will take time to come together though.
FYI Illinois is a hot name among prep recruits right now.

Not to mention unbalanced schedules and everyone else also having different teams as well.
I need to know what lead to him throwing punches before I can be too hard on a young kid.

I don't recall seeing/hearing this much during the period 2010-2017.
A big thank you to Brad, Ayo, Kofi and our outstanding assistant coaches.
Losing a 2x AA is a pretty big subtraction, along with one of the top glue guys we've had in Trent, but I like your optimism. Lotta talent coming in, and as good as Kofi was, the team bogged down in the NCAAs when they focused so heavily on trying to feed him. Should be fun to watch - have a few guys with very high potential.
Yea I recall this board having a similar reaction when TyTy sucker punched a dude in handshake line when we were in the thick of his recruitment.

Milt Wagner's grandson!!! (Milt grew up in Camden, NJ when they were the #1 high school basketball program in the country - then played for Denny Crum at Louisville on the 1986 national championship team with "Never Nervous" Pervis Ellison). I just read that DJ is vying to become the first-ever 3rd generation NBA player. His dad is DaJuan Wagner (Memphis).
What a basketball family. Hope he stays out of trouble..........
